ResData is an institutional metadata repository to facilitate effective management, discovery and sharing of institutional research data collections. The Universal Java Matrix Package (UJMP) is an open source Java library which provides sparse and dense matrix classes, as well as a large number of calculations for linear algebra such as matrix multiplication or matrix inverse. Operations such as mean, correlation, standard deviation, replacement of missing values or the calculation of mutual information are supported, too. The Universal Java Matrix Package provides various visualization methods, import and export filters for a large number of file formats, and even the possibility to link to JDBC databases. Multi-dimensional matrices as well as generic matrices with a specified object type are supported and very large matrices can be handled even when they do not fit into memory.

Universal Tag Finder is a tool to query against html content in the file system. For developers it allows to find out relevant elements during the troubleshooting and validating periods. Does not need to bother on massive regex to find out elements.

This program is made to address two most common issues with the known classifying algorithms. First, over-training and second, shortage of data for a training of categories. Instead, each TXT file is a category on its own, rather than an assigned category. In a way, this is similar to clustering but not really a clustering algorithm since there is some training involved. The summarizer from Classifier4J has been adjusted to accept two inputs (lets call them A and B). Then, the summarizer gets trained with A to summarize a document B, and vice versa. This extracts a relevant structure for both documents (and thus avoids the over-training) which are then compared using the Vector-Space analysis to give a range of belonging of one document to another (and thus avoids the shortage of information). This method can be used to create the user-defined classes by merging texts of certain categories and then to calculate the relevant distances between the documents, but this is not necessary.

VKAS uses genetic programming methods to find out the relationship among a set of independent and dependent variable. It is a problem solver software which uses evolutionary computing methods. When vkas is run, it creates a population of chromosomes at random. This population is then genetically modified and next population is generated. Each population is subjected to fitness calculation and if a suitable answer chromosome is found then vkas stops and the answer is printed. If a suitable answer is not found then the program stops after specified max generations are over.
