LuaCV is OpenCV library wrapper for Lua language. Main goal is to access fast image processing library to light-weight, non-type language. Thanks to CMake project is a much easier to compile it under many OS platforms which are supported by OpenCV. LuaCV is being developed at faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of Brno University of Technology in Czech republic. Working with: Lua 5.2, OpenCV 2.2-2.4 LuaCV-0.2.0 (svn rev. 62) is last version compatible with Lua 5.1 but working only with OpenCV 2.2 and below.

Desktop clock for X Windows/Linux, provides desktop clock and a alert/notification system. Built using Kulina Graphics Library (kglib) and the companion development tool 'kgdevelop', 'kgclock' has very few other dependencies. However Kulina Graphics depends on Graphic Magick for its image processing components. Hence Kulina Graphics depends on Graphic Magick and its dependencies. Kulina Graphics Libray and kgdevelop are available for free download. The binary file for 'kgclock' is statically linked with kulina graphic library and its dependencies and hence should work for any 64bit Linux distribution. A tarball for binary and another source tarball are provided. Also provided is a .deb package which can be installed using 'dpkg -i <package>'. The binary tarball should work for any 64 bit Linux distribution. If one prefers to build from source one need to install Kulina Graphics also. One specialty of 'kgclock' its low cpu usage, after one minute it is negligible.

The RTToolbox was designed following object-oriented design principles and was implemented in the language C++. It supports the import of radiotherapy data (e.g. dose distributions and structure sets) from DICOM-RT format and other standard image processing formats by using a bridge to ITK. The RTToolbox supports the full range of radiotherapy evaluation. Tools such as DVH calculation, arithmetic operations on dose distributions and structure relationship analysis are provided as a basis for further calculations. Dose comparison indices such as Conformity Index (CI), Homogeneity Index (HI) and Conformation Number (CN), and biological models including TCP, NTCP, EUD and BED are determined from dose distributions and DVHs. cbrTekStraktor is an application to automatically extract text from the text bubbles or speech balloons present in comic book reader files (CBR). Its prime goal is to perform analysis on the texts of comic books. cbrTekStraktor can however also be used for scanlation or similar purposes. The application also enables to manually define text areas in CBR files. The application comprises a simple graphical editor for further processing the extracted text. The text extraction is achieved by a combination of statistical and graphical processing operations. It is based on the following 3 major algorithms - Binarization of color images (Niblak and other methods) - Connected components - K-Means clustering Apache Tesseract is used to perform Optical Character Recognition on the extracted text. A subsequent version of the application will integrate with translation software in order to provide automated translation of comic book texts and re-inserion of translated texts
