XMLSlideShow (XSS) is an XHTML based slideshow and presentation tool. Designed for Firefox > 1.5 XSS provides many features, that are known and valued in other presentation software.

Xidel is a command line tool to download web pages and extract data from them. This data can be extracted using XPath/XQuery 3.0 (with a compatibility modes for XPath 2.0 and XQuery 1.0), JSONiq, CSS 3 selectors, and custom, pattern-matching templates that are like an annotated version of the processed page. It can download files over HTTP/S connections, follow redirections, links, or extracted values, and also process local files. The extracted values can then be exported as plain text/XML/JSON, or assigned to variables to use in other extract expressions. CLI tool for making HTML presentations with Remark.js using Markdown. Use bs init to create a new presentation along with a template directory in the current directory. The template directory is needed for backslide to transform your Markdown files into HTML presentations. You can create as many markdown presentations as you want in the directory, they will all be based on the same template. Use bs serve to start a development server with live reload. A page will automatically open in your web browser showing all your presentations. Select one to see the preview, you can then edit your .md file and see the changes immediately as you save the file. bluebery is an easy-to-use sql/php based content manager that provides php libraries and methods to use in your sites pages with which you can very easily access & print desired items, or an iteration of items that are stored through the bluebery web ui.

bluemonday is an HTML sanitizer implemented in Go. It is fast and highly configurable. bluemonday takes untrusted user-generated content as an input, and will return HTML that has been sanitized against an allowlist of approved HTML elements and attributes so that you can safely include the content in your web page. If you accept user-generated content, and your server uses Go, you need bluemonday. It protects sites from XSS attacks. There are many vectors for an XSS attack and the best way to mitigate the risk is to sanitize user input against a known safe list of HTML elements and attributes. If you use blackfriday or Pandoc then bluemonday should be run after these steps. This ensures that no insecure HTML is introduced later in your process. Allowlist based, you need to either build a policy describing the HTML elements and attributes to permit.
