    Klipse

    Klipse

Klipse is a JavaScript plugin for embedding interactive code snippets

Klipse is a JavaScript plugin for embedding interactive code snippets in tech blogs. Technically, Klipse is a small piece of JavaScript code that evaluates code snippets in the browser and it is pluggable on any web page. The klipse plugin is a JavaScript tag that transforms static code snippets of an HTML page into live and interactive snippets. If you want to integrate Klipse inside a Clojurescript project, it is recommended to consume Klipse as a Clojurescript library like any other Clojurescript lib. The Klipse plugin can be easily styled with CSS, which can be applied both to the Klipse plugin's own elements, and to the CodeMirror editor's elements. Much of the styling you'll apply will be to CodeMirror, as it contains all the CSS classes to style the code itself. Surrounding CodeMirror is the Klipse plugin, the styles of which control the plugin's borders, and the executed code's output.

    Kweb

    Kweb

    A Kotlin web framework

Kweb is designed to make it easy for developers to create modern websites without having to worry about the complexities of communication between the server and the browser. With a unified codebase, you can focus on creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface, rather than spending time on technical details. By streamlining the development process, Kweb makes it easier to build functional and beautiful websites that meet the needs of your users. Kweb is a remote interface for a web browser's DOM (Document Object Model). With Kweb, you can create and manipulate DOM elements, and listen for and handle events, all using an intuitive Kotlin DSL that mirrors the structure of the HTML being created. Kweb is built on the Ktor framework, which handles HTTP, HTTPS, and WebSocket transport, and is optimized to minimize latency and resource usage on both the server and browser.

    Latte

    Latte

The safest & truly intuitive templates for PHP

The first truly secure and intuitive templates for PHP. The most common critical vulnerability in websites is Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). It allows an attacker to insert a malicious script into a page that executes in the browser of an unsuspecting user. It can modify the page, obtain sensitive information or even steal the user's identity. Templating systems fail to defend against XSS. Latte is the only system with an effective defense, thanks to context-sensitive escaping. Latte is based on PHP, whereas Twig is based on Python. A designer in Latte doesn't have to constantly switch between two different conventions. Stay in touch. The plugin for Tracy informs you on each page which templates and which variables are being rendered. Latte has native support in NetBeans and an excellent plugin for PhpStorm that suggests tags, filters and PHP code. Latte is a next generation templating system – it understands HTML.

    Learning JavaScript Design Patterns

    Learning JavaScript Design Patterns

Repo for my 'Learning JavaScript Design Patterns' book

Learning JavaScript Design Patterns is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 unported license. It is available for purchase via O'Reilly Media but will remain available for both free online and as a physical (or eBook) purchase for readers wishing to support the project. This edition was updated to ES2015+ syntax in 2021. Design patterns are reusable solutions to commonly occurring problems in software design. They are both exciting and a fascinating topic to explore in any programming language. One reason for this is that they help us build upon the combined experience of many developers that came before us and ensure we structure our code in an optimized way, meeting the needs of problems we're attempting to solve. Design patterns also provide us a common vocabulary to describe solutions. This can be significantly simpler than describing syntax and semantics when we're attempting to convey a way of structuring a solution in code form.

    Lexbor

    Lexbor

Lexbor is development of an open source HTML Renderer library

Lexbor is the development of a web browser engine available as a software library; it ships with a free license and has no extra dependencies. For us, speed is an absolute must-have. In our development process, we focus on fastest parsing techniques for HTML, CSS, and fonts, fastest data processing methods, and fastest ways to serve content to end users. Whether you are building a backend that handles millions of HTML documents or a UI-heavy user app, your software’s response rate always matters to users and developers alike. Lexbor’s code is optimized for ease of access in end-user applications and across programming languages. You can effortlessly wrap all the capabilities of the library in, say, Python to power your end-user or backend applications in a new environment. In other words, lexbor offers a feature-rich core that developers can build upon as they see fit.
