Git-it is a desktop (Mac, Windows and Linux) app that teaches you how to use Git and GitHub on the command line. This application contains challenges for learning Git and GitHub, by using real Git and GitHub, not emulators. You'll be learning the awesome (and not so scary) command line and GitHub which means when you finish all of the challenges you'll have real repositories on your GitHub account and green squares on your contribution chart. You will need this app, Git-it as well as a text editor. You'll also of course need Git and the first challenge in Git-it helps you get that set up. But if you want to get a head start, go for it! DRBL provides diskless or systemless environment. It uses distributed hardware resources and makes it possible for clients to fully access local hardware. It also includes Clonezilla, a partition and disk cloning utility similar to Ghost.

This is a modified version of the CRC algorithms by Lammert Bies. It supports more algorithms and has been ported to several languages. It's also useful for learning how to do hexadecimal calculations and bitwise operations in various programming languages. Disclaimer: These test programs demonstrate the calculation of CRC. I made these translation with a basic knowledge of each language. They may or may not be appropriately formatted / secured / robustified / idiot proofed or any similar programming issues.

Guglina TTS, special edition: in English (guglinatts-en), is a voice synthesizer originally designed for Brazilian Portuguese. Uses the Google Translate text-to-speech API. Read screens for the visually impaired. Transforms text into audio, allowing blind or low-vision people to access content displayed on the screen. Although the main target audience for text-to-speech conversion systems - such as Guglina TTS EN - is people with visual impairment, this type of program can be used by people with dyslexia and other reading disabilities, people with severe as well as by pre-literate children. In addition to being an assistive technology tool, voice synthesizers can still have educational and entertainment applications.

Web-CAT is a plug-in based web application for automatically grading programming assignments in many programming languages. This project also provides Eclipse plugins for electronic submission and feedback services directly from the Eclipse IDE. BowTIE (Brass Technique Instruction Environment) is an application designed to help trumpet, horn, euphonium, and tuba players learn fingering technique. BowTIE provides excellent support for trumpet and horn players who are learning to transpose.
