MisterHouse is a Windows/Unix home automation program written in Perl. It can respond to voice commands, web browsers, time of day, serial port and X10 data, external files, etc and can speak via Text to Speech engines. Aivas is an Artificially Intelligent Virtual Assistance System. It will be designed to learn what you want assistance with, and then assist with it. Early targets for assistance modules or methods will include an engine supporting misterhouse.

Accent (Advanced Component Control Enhancing Network Technologies) is a comprehensive tool suite that interfaces a variety of communications systems and allows these systems to be controlled through goals (high-level user aims) and policies (lower-level system rules). Accent is essentially software. As most of Accent in in Java, it needs at least a Java Runtime Environment but more likely a Java Software Development Kit. To interact with the real world, Accent needs relevant hardware such as a communications server (softswitch) or home automation equipment.

New improved iptables tool, based on my earlier project Easy Linux Firewall, but rewritten from scratch using Perl. It's a simple rewrite for now, but i am working on adding some new features like. Some of the improvements will be web administration panel, automatic filtering daemon, TCP listener providing easy to use API so you can integrate it on many servers and centralize them in to one Web interface to control all of them.
