serialLCD is Arduino based open-source project. It contains ATmega8 with given firmware file & the arduino library. The ATmega8 can be replaced by ATmega168/328. ATmega8 uses its 8MHz internal oscillator to reduce hardware (atmega8 no-xtal bootloader is used). The arduino library uses SoftwareSerial internally to communicate ATmega8 via digital pin 6 (only for uno/duemilanove or clone with atmega8/168/328, not for mega & due). This is a new object-oriented networking stack for the ChipKit UNO32 and MAX32 boards. It currently supports just the ENC28J60 ethernet chip, but could easily be expanded to include other network chips. It offers a full network stack, with TCP and UDP, along with the ability to have multiple ethernet connections. Multiple sockets across multiple protocols are also possible. It has been designed to have a very simple interface to take a lot of the drudgery out of ENC28J60 programming. -
