...OpenTabletDriver functions as two separate processes that interact with each other seamlessly. The active program that does all of the tablet data handling is OpenTabletDriver.Daemon. The daemon must be started in order for anything to work, however, the GUI is unnecessary. If you have existing settings, they should apply when the daemon starts. The requirements to build OpenTabletDriver are consistent across all platforms. Running OpenTabletDriver on each platform requires different dependencies. Run build.ps1 to produce binary builds to 'bin' folder. These builds will run in portable mode by default. -

LCDd does keep the panel on, but it can't update any info, and the clock just keeps frozen at 12:00. I've tried both the imon and the imonlcd drivers, same results. This script does get it working, however, you need to stop LCDd before running it. -

...Update [September 7th, 2014]: As of VMware Fusion 7.0.0, VMware Tools for Mac (darwin.iso) - VMwareGfx.kext has all the features of VMsvga2 and is maintained by VMware. It is recommended to transition to VMwareGfx.kext, as VMsvga2 is no longer under development. Additionally, guestd_patches do not work with darwin.iso from Fusion 7.0.0 - the patch causes vmware-tools-daemon to crash. -
