...The optimizations are done with assembly and are for the x86 architecture. For Win32. For VC++6. It compiles and makes a DLL (and a .LIB for VC++6). The release version of the .H file is also included. Nothing stops you from using these functions in D3D. Actually, GLHLIB doesn't use any OpenGL functions. -

Converts RAW files to BMP ones
It always frustrated me that almost NO image tool can handle RAW image files. That's why I built my own! It's nothing fancy, it takes files from the cmd-line and asks for the images' dimensions. I programmed it in less than 10 minutes :-p -

Stream Intermission

...If you need to go somewhere, launch the program, and it will fill the entire screen. The background will smoothly change, and ambiance effects will randomly appear, such as rain or fireworks. It's nothing glamorous, but it certainly beats leaving your viewers in the dark, wouldn't you agree? On top of that, a message scrolls by notifying your users that you're away. If you want, you can type your own message after opening the program, so that viewers can know exactly why you're gone, and estimate when you'll return. There are also some extra features, like the ability to add your own music or a watermark. -

A generalization of Conway's Game of Life
Conway's Game of Life is generalized to a continuous domain. OpenGL and GLSL shaders are used for real-time 2D and 3D graphics. Time stepping is done via a real to complex FFT based convolution operation. There are also two deliberately simple test implementations in FreeBasic and Matlab. A 2D version on a sphere shows that it is really not dependent on the underlying grid. -
