    Amazon EC2 Metadata Mock

    Amazon EC2 Metadata Mock

A tool to simulate Amazon EC2 instance metadata

Instance metadata is data about your instance that you can use to configure or manage the running instance. Instance metadata is divided into categories, for example, hostname, events, and security groups. You can also use instance metadata to access user data that you specified when launching your instance. For example, you can specify parameters for configuring your instance, or include a simple script. You can build generic AMIs and use user data to modify the configuration files supplied at launch time. ...

    bottom

    bottom

Yet another cross-platform graphical process/system monitor

...By default, bottom is somewhat like a dashboard - a bunch of different widgets, all showing different things, and they all cram together to fit into one terminal. If you instead just want to see one widget, maybe you want to look at a graph in more detail, for example, you can "expand" the currently selected widget using the e key, which will hide all other widgets and make that widget take up all available terminal space. To allow for widget-specific keybindings and expansion, there is the idea of widget selection in bottom, where you can focus on a specific widget to work with it. This can be done with the mouse (just click on the widget of interest).

    GitHub Isometric Contributions extension

    GitHub Isometric Contributions extension

Browser extension for rendering isometric pixel art charts

...Besides being sort of neat looking, this view is interesting in that it highlights the differences between the number of contributions with more granularity. This isn't meant to completely replace the standard 2D graph though, because in most ways it is actually less useful. For example, there are no axis labels, shorter bars can be hidden behind taller ones, you can't hover over a bar to see the day and count, etc. If you want to hack on the extension, you'll need to install it manually. First clone or fork this repo. Then, on your Chrome Extensions page, make sure "Developer mode" is checked. You can then click the "Load unpacked extension" button and browse to the src directory of this repo.

    Filament

    Filament

Real-time physically based rendering engine for Android, iOS, and more

Filament is a real-time physically-based renderer written in C++. It is mobile-first, but also multi-platform. We are very conscientious about keeping Filament small, fast to load, and focused on rendering. For example, Filament does not compile materials at run time. Instead, we provide a command line tool (matc) that does this offline. Filament is a physically based rendering (PBR) engine for Android. The goal of Filament is to offer a set of tools and APIs for Android developers that will enable them to create high quality 2D and 3D rendering with ease. ...

    Manim Skills Repository

    Manim Skills Repository

Agent skills for Manim to create 3Blue1Brown style animations

Manim Skills Repository provides a well-crafted set of “agent skills” and reusable components that make it easier to produce animations in Manim similar to the iconic style seen in 3Blue1Brown videos. It supplies templates, best-practice patterns, and example scenes that help users quickly get started with both Manim Community Edition and the older ManimGL framework, allowing for expressive mathematical and conceptual animations without reinventing the wheel. The project aims to wrap common animation logic into structured skills that can be invoked programmatically, reducing boilerplate and allowing creators to focus on creative content rather than low-level animation setup. ...

    Wicked Engine

    Wicked Engine

    3D engine with modern graphics

...To build Wicked Engine for Windows (10 or later), use the latest version of Visual Studio and the provided WickedEngine.sln solution file. By simply pressing F5, the Editor application will be built. There are other example projects that you can build as well within the solution. If you want to develop a C++ application that uses Wicked Engine, you can build the WickedEngine static library project for the appropriate platform, such as WickedEngine_Windows, and link against it. Including the "WickedEngine.h" header will attempt to link the binaries for the appropriate platform, but search directories should be set up beforehand.

Many community users combine it with JavaScript to dynamically generate cards from data (e.g. Pokédex entries or user input). It offers a playful, educational example of what you can achieve with modern CSS, especially in combining design fidelity with flexible markup.

    glslmath

    glslmath

C++ header-only library that simulates GLSL math

GLSLmath provides C++ math operations as defined by GLSL. For example, it provides methods to easily setup viewing transformations and perspective projections. GLSLmath has been inspired by the glm and slmath libraries, which aim to mimic GLSL, but in contrast to those GLSLmath does not focus on a complete conforming implementation of GLSL. It rather aims to provide a convenient single header file that implements the most commonly used subset of GLSL so that it is easy to use for rapid prototyping and GLSL teaching purposes. ...

    react-native-animatable

    react-native-animatable

Set of animations and declarative transitions for React Native

...Most animations except the attention seekers work best when setting direction to alternate. You can create your own simple transitions of a style property of your own choosing. The following example will increase the font size by 5 for every tap, all animated, all declarative! If you don't supply a duration property, a spring animation will be used. Transitions require StyleSheet.flatten available in React Native 0.15 or later. If you are running on anything lower, please polyfill as described under imperative usage.

Simple emoji support for node.js projects

...Once you have that set-up, just run npm install --save node-emoji in your project directory. You're now ready to use emoji in your node projects! There are some emojis that have "-" in their name, for example "t-rex" and refrencing them directly like this (emoji.t-rex) won't work. In such cases, use the emoji.get('t-rex') syntax instead. Qt3D ShadowMap C++

Shadow mapping in Qt3D using C++

This is a C++ conversion of the Qt3D QML Shadow Map example. This is not a strict port, since I just wanted the shadow mapping for another project I'm working on, so the fancy airplane animation is not included. I tried to build the classes so that they mirror the QML in terms of interface and functionality. It took me weeks to work this out, so I'm posting the code to help others. It's a shame that Qt3D is so lacking in documentation and example code.

    lax.js

    lax.js

Library to create smooth & beautiful animations when you scroll

...The easiest way to get started is to use presets via html classes. Multiple presets can be chained together and they can be customised to suit your needs. Use the preset explorer to explore effects and see a simple example here. To increase performance, lax.js indexes the list of elements to animate when the page loads. If you're using a library like React, Vue or EmberJS, it is likely that you are adding elements after the initial window.onload. Because of this you will need to call lax.addElements when you add components to the DOM that you want to animate.
