I'm using an MD5 hash of a username and password field to generate some entropy which is used to generate color pallets and positions / scaling of two Mandelbrot sets. These two images are overlaid to create interesting pictures which represent the entered credentials. I'm interested in all things security, this is mostly just for fun, but could possibly be used to help users identify mistakes in their password entry prior to submission and enforce a tighter failed password lockout policy.... -

In addition, a part of software (called StView ver.1.0) was ported to a web-based GIS system (e.g., ProGIS) and ProVIP as a solution for stereo visualisation. Apart from the stereo visualisation, some useful stereo tools (e.g., stereo matcher or stereo image processing tools) have been extracted from UCL’s previous development for HRSC data processing, and modified for close-range stereo imagery. -

The Linux version has been implemented using the plugin system, there is currently no MacOS version, but if someone would like to do one... Misfit Cubed was developed to specifically make it easy to make MD5 models for our game, MekArcade, based on the Cube2 game engine. The exporter DOES NOT handle misfit tags properly - please read the documentation in the wiki. Primarily for use with the REVEAL web system this daemon polls a mysql database for 3d rendering requests. Currently the system will handle PMVS2 from U. Wash and Iray from Brown U. systems. Much of the code was ported from the osm-bundler system http://code.google.com/p/osm-bundler/ The daemon curently runs in win64/linux64 for PMVS and linux64 for Brown's Iray algroithm. -
