Expands on the code from the book "3D User Interfaces with Java 3D", and includes a generous contribution of RCP code from Meyer Sound. Recent work includes a Norden bombsight simulator, with terrain rendering based on NASA's WorldWind SDK. For this effort YourKit has generously made available its full-featured Java Profiler (https://www.yourkit.com/java/profiler/index.jsp), which has proved invaluable in improving simulator performance.

Image Inpainting is the art of filling in missing data in an image. The purpose of inpainting is to reconstruct missing regions in a visually plausible manner so that it seems reasonable to the human eye.

Snap is an OpenSource ScreenShot capturing utility written completely using Java Swing. It has a GUI Version and a command line variant which the user can choose based upon his/her choice. The captured ScreenShot can be saved in either jpg or png format.

Synthclipse is a GLSL shader prototyping tool. It makes possible to fast develop all kinds of shaders: Fragment (FS), Vertex (VS), Geometry (GS), Tessellation (TS) and Compute (CS). Shader development can be done using, compatible with Fragmentarium and Shadertoy (but limited to FS and VS), Fragx shaders or by using fully featured JavaScript JSX scripts. The JSX API is consistent with WebGL but in fact exposes complete OpenGL 4+ API. TER implements the CCSDS Recommendation for Image Data Compression (CCSDS 122.0-B-1). TER also adds new features to the Recommendation. TER is designed and programmed with the aim to provide a good basis to test and develop the CCSDS Recommendation.

The 2DX Project is an ongoing project aiming to provide powerful, versatile, and felxible tools for 2D graphics programming in Java. The 2DX-GL core library provides utilities for animation, geometry, basic physics, and more. The Snap2D game engine/library builds upon the 2DX-GL core library by adding features like 2D world management tools, a dedicated scripting language, and high level rendering via the user's choice of either OpenGL or Java2D (OpenGL recommended for high perormance rendering, of course).
