Both Linux and macOS is supported, with Windows support mostly working. Inspiration for gowitness comes from Eyewitness. If you are looking for something with lots of extra features, be sure to check it out along with these other projects. For installation information and other documentation, please refer to the wiki. The primary of purpose that gowitness serves is to take screenshots of websites and do that well. As such, gowitness has many ways to be told how to take a screenshot. By default, gowitness will store screenshots in a screenshots/ directory in the path where gowitness is being run from. It will also store all of the preflight information (initial HTTP response which includes headers & TLS information).

    Instance metadata is data about your instance that you can use to configure or manage the running instance. Instance metadata is divided into categories, for example, hostname, events, and security groups. You can also use instance metadata to access user data that you specified when launching your instance. For example, you can specify parameters for configuring your instance, or include a simple script. You can build generic AMIs and use user data to modify the configuration files supplied at launch time. For example, if you run web servers for various small businesses, they can all use the same generic AMI and retrieve their content from the Amazon S3 bucket that you specify in the user data at launch. To add a new customer at any time, create a bucket for the customer, add their content, and launch your AMI with the unique bucket name provided to your code in the user data. If you launch more than one instance at the same time, the user data is available to all instances.

    Rendora is a dynamic renderer to provide zero-configuration server-side rendering mainly to web crawlers in order to effortlessly improve SEO for websites developed in modern Javascript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, Angular.js, etc. Rendora works totally independently of your frontend and backend stacks. Rendora can be seen as a reverse HTTP proxy server sitting between your backend server (e.g. Node.js/Express.js, Python/Django, etc...) and potentially your frontend proxy server (e.g. nginx, traefik, apache, etc...) or even directly to the outside world that does actually nothing but transporting requests and responses as they are except when it detects whitelisted requests according to the config. In that case, Rendora instructs a headless Chrome instance to request and render the corresponding page and then return the server-side rendered page back to the client (i.e. the frontend proxy server or the outside world).

    Reproducing images with geometric primitives

    Primitive Pictures is an image processing command-line tool written in Go that reproduces images using geometric primitives (triangles, rectangles, ellipses, polygons, etc.). The core algorithm is iterative and “hill-climbing”: given a target image, it repeatedly finds the best single shape to add that will reduce the error between the current approximation and the target image, then draws that shape. Over time (e.g., adding 50-200 shapes) the output becomes an abstracted version of the input image—recognizable, artistic, and often visually striking. The tool supports input resizing, different shape modes (triangle, rectangle, circle, bezier, polygon), alpha blending, and can output PNG, JPG, SVG, or even animated GIFs that show the incremental build process. Because the Go code is self-contained and efficient, users can run it locally on images, script batch runs, or use it to generate “primitive art” or stylized thumbnails.

    A collection of parallel image processing algorithms in pure Go. The aim of this project is simplicity in use and development over absolute high performance, but most algorithms are designed to be efficient and make use of parallelism when available. It uses packages from the standard library whenever possible to reduce dependency use and development abstractions. All operations return image types from the standard library. Package convolution provides the functionality to create and apply a kernel to an image. Package effect provides the functionality to manipulate images to achieve various looks. Package histogram provides basic histogram types and functions to analyze RGBA images. Package paint provides functions to edit a group of pixels on an image. Package parallel provides helper functions for the dispatching of parallel jobs.
