...Remarks for the DOS version: It is also a funny example of a game system almost fully in Ada, including sound driver, graphics driver, keyboard driver. The only things not in Ada there are the file system (MS-DOS), the 32-bit DOS extender (CWSDPMI) and the mouse driver. For running, I recommend DOSBox. UPDATE 2014-06-01: As there are still lots of weekly downloads I need to clarify the TXna status. The Xna 3.1 based version is no longer developed, there are no commits for over two years. Instead a port to MonoGame is in progress. Please use the TXnaGE from the \branches\monogame folder! The monogame version is based on mongame 3.2.2 and has most of TXna features except: shadowmapping, modelscenenodes and instancing - those features are in development! -

It would be nice if there were something that showed pictures on your desktop as they are on a real desk top - to be moved around. I hope this fills that need. Basic functionality: Shows a chosen picture on a movable window - click anywhere on the window and it moves - allows multiple pictures to be shown on many different windows at a given level of opacity so that it does not get in the way of other images. -

All image viewers i've ever seen have something on screen other than the image they're displaying. I didn't like that, so, pViewer was born. And that's why everything in pViewer is done with the right click menu and keyboard shortcuts. I also didn't want to use two different viewers for viewing images and for reading comics, and that's why pViewer have a Manga/Comic mode. This project is the beginning of a big photo book conversion tool. Starting with ifolor (from switzerland) and output to scribus (which is a DTP application and can easily be used to create a pdf), I plan to also support other formats and support cross conversion, but for that I need YOUR INPUT (at least test files). Also other output formats are possible, but I didn't find a better format in the open source world than scribus yet. The project runs in a Java virtual machine.
