RTKLIB is an open source program package for standard and precise positioning with GNSS (global navigation satellite system). This port includes only a library (.so or .dll) for the C/C++ language and a .dll for C#/.NET Framework. This program will read from an active GPS device and save it to a TXT file. This can then be used to fake a GPS signal while your developing your own GPS based project. I think its easier to develop this way from the home/office over having to bring the laptop outside and test / develop.
