This project has ended. I have used OpenFlightNav for several years on a netbook sitting on my lap in the cockpit. 1. Navigation system for private (glider) pilots. This is a Windows Mobile software that monitors SIM card, GPS position, and auto answer to SMS. It's small (build in C++), doesn't have any dependency, and still provides all the features found in commercial applications. It consumes no memory.
