Open Source MATLAB Games

A community-built and maintained project aiming to provide high-quality and detailed aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Our custom-built, open-source installer is where we keep our projects for you to easily install. Pick which branch you want to install, and the installer will automatically download it into the proper folder.

JSBSim is a multi-platform, general purpose object-oriented Flight Dynamics Model (FDM) written in C++. The FDM is essentially the physics & math model that defines the movement of an aircraft, rocket, etc., under the forces and moments applied to it using the various control mechanisms and from the forces of nature. JSBSim can be run in a standalone batch mode flight simulator (no graphical displays a.k.a. console mode) for testing and study, or integrated with the Unreal engine, FlightGear and many other simulation environments.

CTruck 2D is a 2D, oldstyle, physically realistic 2D truck game. Predecessor of the CTruck3D vehicle simulator series. I wrote it from zero in C (+OpenGL&GLUT). It has ascii-art and nice graphics version, and a special funny version It's a very basic thing: there are free rigid bodies and springs with strong attenuation/damping. It's very simple and very short code, and collisions of bodies with ground are good and stable. A good simulation of this kind, however requires Lagrangian method. I proposed the Lagrange_motocross as an alternative of this kind. The code is not much longer but the it's overall more complicated, and collisions are a bad issue.

<Temporarily Unavailable Online> This project is aiming at completing a library of open codes (mainly based on MATLAB at present) to deal with Dipoles-Cavity Interaction problems. Common methods, including Green's function method and Master Equation method et al, will be applied to the coding. Samples of calculations and standard comparison with publications using the library will be given for demonstration of the usage. Interface to some commonly used software, such as Lumerical FDTD Solutions, will also be developed in the project. This project is titled under nanophotonics, quantum optics, nano-optics, computational physics and physics.

Open source controller for Scalextric community. Scalextric Controller is composed by a custom hand controller, used to drive the Scalextric slots cars, and Android application used to communicate with the hand controller via Bluethoot low power (BLE).
