...Then for a while we intended it for the UO shard moria.cz, but that didn't succeed either, and the shard is now defunct. The last commit of this phase is r904 in "SvnCode" repository. Lately I've using the codebase for experiments with in-memory transactions. First part is abandoning NANT for building and moving to VS 2015. That's done in r922. This is the last functional code. After that the transaction stuff is added which basically means the server is broken. Ultimately I've moved to GitHub, where the development may or may not continue. ...

...Some of the code is left in an unfinished/testing state. This game was a learning experiment for me, and the math used is tested until it works for the game. After using the science math by the book, there were still flaws that could make the player get stuck under certain conditions (since floating point is not exact), and the workarounds for this are just my own ideas. Have looked at the code for other 3D games and there are mostly the same problems around collision detection and "hacks" to get it to "work". -

Some features - "Daemon mode" (run in background). - Auto reconnection in case of network problems. - Builtin support for using timeseal. - An ICS proxy. When instructed via the "proxy" option, icsdrone acts as a proxy for the ICS it is connected to. This is similar to using xboard with zippy but now the "GUI" (xboard/winboard) can be closed without terminating the engine. -

News: In early 2015, I started a new project, called "Imp City", using the Jewelhunt codebase to implement a new game, kind of a crossover of a Settlers type game and Dungeon Keeper. At the moment, the codebase is 100% shared between the two projects.
