Starlight Fabric
Rewrites the light engine to fix lighting performance
Starlight is a performance optimization project for Minecraft that completely rewrites the game’s internal lighting engine to improve efficiency and reduce lighting-related lag. The original Minecraft lighting system can be computationally expensive when generating terrain or updating large structures, which can cause performance problems on servers and heavily modded environments. Starlight replaces this system with a redesigned algorithm that processes lighting calculations more efficiently and reduces the number of updates required for each chunk. The project aims to improve chunk generation performance, reduce lag spikes, and eliminate certain lighting bugs that occur in the vanilla engine. Because it fundamentally replaces the default lighting system, Starlight can significantly improve performance on servers handling large numbers of block updates or terrain generation tasks. -

JGPSTrackEdit
GPS track editor for editing tracks and planning (multiple) day tours
JGPSTrackEdit is a tool for editing gps tracks and planning (multiple days) tours (GPS track editor). An abritary number of tracks may be opened or created, tracks may be merged. A track may be splitted, reversed or edited (e.g. compressed and corrected). Points may be inserted or appended to a track (routing supported) or may be moved or deleted from a track. Maps of several providers are available, the default map is OpenStreetMap. Currently supported track formats: Garmin gpx route, Garmin gpx track, Garmin tcx, kml and plain txt. JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. Master of Magic - IME
Multiplayer Java rewrite of Simtex's classic game Master of Magic
This is a multiplayer client/server java rewrite of Microprose/Simtex's classic DOS turn based strategy game Master of Magic. Latest versions now require Java 25, however since a lot of folks have been having trouble setting this up, I am now providing 2 versions, one with a JRE included in the download, and one without. Beyond this, it should just be as simple as unzipping the file and running server.bat to get the server running locally, and client.bat to start up the client. See the readme for more details. The project is effectively finished at this point and I did not really plan any further major releases. However Simbey has been commissioning an artist to upscale all the graphics from the original game so these have been incorporated into 1.7.0. By default it uses the original graphics, you need to enable the upscaled graphics in the options screen. Free Android 2D OpenGL Game Engine
AndEngine is a Java-based, open-source 2D game engine for Android, designed to make mobile game development easier by wrapping OpenGL (GLES) under a higher-level API.
