    Haskell game engine library for roguelike dungeon crawlers. LambdaHack is a Haskell game engine library for ASCII roguelike games of arbitrary theme, size and complexity, with optional tactical squad combat. It's packaged together with a sample dungeon crawler in a quirky fantasy setting. To use the engine, you need to specify the content to be procedurally generated. You declare what the game world is made of (entities, their relations, physics and lore) and the engine builds the world and runs it. The library lets you compile a ready-to-play game binary, using either the supplied or a custom-made main loop. A couple of frontends are available (SDL2 is the default for desktop and there is a JavaScript browser frontend) and many other generic engine components are easily overridden, but the fundamental source of flexibility lies in the strict and enforced with types separation of engine code from the read-only content and of clients (human and AI-controlled) from the server.

The sources include: - Bare game engine with almost no specific features of the game, because they are my intellectual property; - Map editor; - Tile editor; - Default graphics tileset (tileset.grx). The sources DO NOT include: - Game maps; - Custom graphics tileset; - Source code for specific game features. IMPORTANT NOTE: Certain graphical features require the custom tileset which is my intellectual property, and as such is not included in the sources, only the default tileset is available. This means that you'll probably have to customize the tileset or the source code so that you'll be able to see certain graphics as they were originally intended to appear in the game

    LiquidFun is a 2D rigid-body and fluid simulation C++ library for games based upon Box2D. It provides support for procedural animation of physical bodies to make objects move and interact in realistic ways. You can write LiquidFun code in C++, Java, or JavaScript. LiquidFun is an extension of Box2D. It adds a particle based fluid and soft body simulation to the rigid body functionality of Box2D. LiquidFun can be built for many different systems, including Android, iOS, Windows, OS X, Linux, and JavaScript. For applications on Google Play that integrate this tool, usage is tracked. This tracking is done automatically using the embedded version string (b2_liquidFunVersionString), and helps us continue to optimize it. Since this is open source, you are free to remove the version string but we would appreciate if you would leave it in.

    The project is a fork of Glest Advanced Engine for the purposes of adding significant gameplay options, graphics upgrades and GUI upgrades in order to create an engine capable of playing a series of 7 games I wish to create. The 7 games are all based on this IP: Children of the Thousand Suns: The Unaligned Mandate Each game combines a few different genres from this list and others: RTS, TBS, RPG, Sim, City Building, Breeding, Management You can also make mods of various kinds with support for all the features my own games use and possibly more. It's open source and free obviously. Most modding is done through XML files quite similar to the ones for other Glest derivatives. There may be some good scripting support as well. Currently for fun I am creating a Majesty like to play with since Majesty 2 sucks and Majesty one doesn't support easy modding. Changed the homepage to the GitHub since the repository here is being difficult and thus doesn't contain the source.
