gofumpt
A stricter gofmt
Enforce a stricter format than gofmt, while being backward compatible. That is, gofumpt is happy with a subset of the formats that gofmt is happy with. The tool is a fork of gofmt as of Go 1.19, and requires Go 1.18 or later. It can be used as a drop-in replacement to format your Go code, and running gofmt after gofumpt should produce no changes. Some of the Go source files in this repository belong to the Go project. The project includes copies of go/printer and go/doc/comment as of Go 1.19 to ensure consistent formatting independent of what Go version is being used. The added formatting rules are implemented in the format package. Note that vendor directories are skipped unless given as explicit arguments. Similarly, the added rules do not apply to generated Go files unless they are given as explicit arguments. -

gotestsum
'go test' runner with output optimized for humans, JUnit XML for CI
gotestsum runs tests using go test -json, prints formatted test output, and a summary of the test run. It is designed to work well for both local developments, and for automation like CI. When the --rerun-fails flag is set, gotestsum will re-run any failed tests. The tests will be re-run until each passes once, or the number of attempts exceeds the maximum attempts. Maximum attempts defaults to 2, and can be changed with --rerun-fails=n. gotestsum supports executing a compiled test binary (created with go test -c) by running it as a custom command. pkgname is the name of the package being tested, it will show up in the test output. ./binary.test is the path to the compiled test binary. The -test.v must be included so that go tool test2json receives all the output. When the --watch flag is set, gotestsum will watch directories using file system notifications. -

So we will support a major version of Go until there are two newer major releases. We no longer support building jwt-go with unsupported Go versions, as these contain security vulnerabilities that will not be fixed. In short, it's a signed JSON object that does something useful (for example, authentication). It's commonly used for Bearer tokens in Oauth 2. A token is made of three parts, separated by .'s. The first two parts are JSON objects, that have been base64url encoded. The last part is the signature, encoded the same way. The first part is called the header. It contains the necessary information for verifying the last part, the signature. For example, which encryption method was used for signing and what key was used. -

Reasonable handling of nullable values
null is a library with reasonable options for dealing with nullable SQL and JSON values. There are two packages: null and its subpackage zero. Types in null will only be considered null on null input, and will JSON encode to null. If you need zero and null be considered separate values, use these. Types in zero are treated like zero values in Go: blank string input will produce a null zero.String, and null Strings will JSON encode to "". Zero values of these types will be considered null to SQL. If you need zero and null treated the same, use these. All types implement sql.Scanner and driver.Valuer, so you can use this library in place of sql.NullXXX. All types also implement: encoding.TextMarshaler, encoding.TextUnmarshaler, json.Marshaler, and json.Unmarshaler. A null object's MarshalText will return a blank string. -

openFrameworks is a C++ toolkit for creative coding. docs have some documentation around OF usage, per platform things to consider, etc. You should definitely take a look in there; for example, if you are on OSX, read the osx.md. apps and examples are where projects go -- examples contain a variety of tasks that show you how to use OF, and apps is where your own projects will go. libs contain the libraries that OF uses, including the open frameworks core itself. addons are for additional functionality that's not part of the core. export is for DLLs and dylibs that need to be put in each compiled project. The scripts folder has templates and small scripts for automating OF per platform. project generator is a GUI-based tool for doing new projects - this folder is only there in packaged releases. -
