    Event Horizon

    Event Horizon

    Event Sourcing for Go!

Event Horizon is a CQRS/ES toolkit for Go. Event Horizon is used in production systems but the API is not final! CQRS stands for Command Query Responsibility Segregation and is a technique where object access (the Query part) and modification (the Command part) are separated from each other. This helps in designing complex data models where the actions can be totally independent from the data output. ES stands for Event Sourcing and is a technique where all events that have happened in a system are recorded, and all future actions are based on the events instead of a single data model. The main benefit of adding Event Sourcing is traceability of changes which can be used for example in audit logging. Additionally, "incorrect" events that happened in the past (for example due to a bug) can be compensated for with an event that will make the current data "correct", as that is based on the events.

    EventFlow

    EventFlow

Async/await first CQRS+ES and DDD framework for .NET

Async/await first CQRS+ES and DDD framework for .NET. Designed with sensible defaults and implementations that make it easy to create an example application. EventFlow uses interfaces for every part of its core, making it easy to replace or extend existing features with custom implementation. To get a more complete example of how EventFlow could be used, have a look at the shipping example found here in the code base. The example is based on the shipping example from the book "Domain-Driven Design - Tackling Complexity in the Heart of Software" by Eric Evans. Its in-progress, but should provide inspiration on how to use EventFlow on a larger scale. If you have ideas and/or comments, create a pull request or an issue. The aggregate ID in EventFlow is represented as a value object that inherits from the IIdentity interface. You can provide your own implementation, but EventFlow provides a convenient implementation that will suit most needs.

    Expr

    Expr

Expression language and expression evaluation for Go

Expr package provides an engine that can compile and evaluate expressions. An expression is a one-liner that returns a value (mostly, but not limited to, booleans). It is designed for simplicity, speed and safety. The purpose of the package is to allow users to use expressions inside configuration for more complex logic. It is a perfect candidate for the foundation of a business rule engine. The idea is to let configure things in a dynamic way without recompile of a program.

    Fabric

    Fabric

Fabric is an open-source framework for augmenting humans using AI

Fabric is a command-line framework that turns a curated library of prompt “patterns” into reusable, automatable workflows for large language models. Instead of repeatedly crafting ad-hoc prompts, you pick a pattern (for research, summarization, brainstorming, code review, and more) and feed it inputs or files. The tool standardizes execution with configuration files and environment variables, enabling reproducible runs across different models and providers. Patterns can be customized with variables, chained into pipelines, and applied to entire directories, which helps scale editorial or analytical tasks. A growing catalog of community patterns serves as a knowledge base for effective prompt engineering in practical contexts. In short, Fabric makes LLM work predictable and scriptable, so teams can share methods rather than one-off prompts.

    FakeItEasy

    FakeItEasy

The easy mocking library for .NET

A .Net dynamic fake framework for creating all types of fake objects, mocks, stubs etc. Easier semantics, all fake objects are just that, fakes. Usage determines whether they're mocks or stubs. Context-aware fluent interface guides the developer. Easy to use and compatible with both C# and VB.Net. Every faked instance looks and feels like an instance of the faked type. Helpful exception messages identify where a test went wrong. Raising events from faked objects. Explicit assertions, stated at the end of the test. Type-safe faking of classes that require constructor arguments. Automatic generation of dummy constructor arguments, if desired. Extensible facilities for fake and dummy creation and argument formatting. Use your fake as you would an instance of the faked type. Asserting uses the same syntax as configuring calls.

    Flask-SQLAlchemy

    Flask-SQLAlchemy

    Adds SQLAlchemy support to Flask

Flask-SQLAlchemy is an extension for Flask that adds support for SQLAlchemy to your application. It simplifies using SQLAlchemy with Flask by setting up common objects and patterns for using those objects, such as a session tied to each web request, models, and engines. Flask-SQLAlchemy does not change how SQLAlchemy works or is used. See the SQLAlchemy documentation to learn how to work with the ORM in depth. The documentation here will only cover setting up the extension, not how to use SQLAlchemy.

    FluentMigrator

    FluentMigrator

    Fluent migrations framework for .NET

Fluent Migrator is a migration framework for .NET much like Ruby on Rails Migrations. Migrations are a structured way to alter your database schema and are an alternative to creating lots of sql scripts that have to be run manually by every developer involved. Migrations solve the problem of evolving a database schema for multiple databases (for example, the developer's local database, the test database and the production database). Database schema changes are described in classes written in C# that can be checked into a version control system. FluentMigrator is a .NET library that helps to version database schema using incremental migrations which are described in C#. The basic idea of the FAKE helper is to run FluentMigrator over the existing database using compiled assembly with migrations.

    GeoStats.jl

    GeoStats.jl

An extensible framework for geospatial data science

GeoStats.jl is a Julia framework for geospatial data science and geostatistical modeling. It’s fully implemented in Julia and designed to provide an extensible, high-performance stack that handles spatial domains, interpolation, simulation, learning, and visualization. The package is modular: it breaks out geometry, spatial domains, transforms, variograms, covariance models, and modeling into subpackages (e.g., GeoStatsBase, GeoStatsModels, GeoStatsTransforms). Users can represent georeferenced tables (points + attributes), define domains (grids, meshes, structured/unstructured), and then apply geostatistical operations such as kriging, interpolation, simulation, variogram estimation, and learning-based prediction. Visualization is supported via integration with Makie.jl to produce spatial renderings, mesh visualizations, and variable overlays.

    Gizzard

    Gizzard

Framework for creating eventually-consistent distributed datastores

Gizzard is a Scala framework originally developed by Twitter for building scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed key-value stores that can be sharded and replicated. It provides infrastructure for routing requests through shard trees, splitting or rebalancing shards dynamically, failover, and migrations. In Gizzard, data is stored in underlying storage shards (which could be databases or other stores) and Gizzard handles the process of routing requests correctly as the cluster topology changes. Gizzard's architecture is designed for operational flexibility: you can change the shard layout over time, reassign replicas, migrate data between nodes, and have requests redirected during transitions. It also supports secondary indexing and provides hooks for custom logic in migrations and consistency. Because Gizzard handles much of the complexity of shard routing and cluster transitions, it was used to support large-scale, evolving storage backends in production.

    Go Clean template

    Go Clean template

Clean Architecture template for Golang services

The purpose of the template is to show how to organize a project and prevent it from turning into spaghetti code, where to store business logic so that it remains independent, clean, and extensible, how not to lose control when a microservice grows. Configuration. First, config.yml is read, then environment variables overwrite the yaml config if they match. The config structure is in the config.go. The env-required: true tag obliges you to specify a value (either in yaml, or in environment variables). For configuration, we chose the cleanenv library. It does not have many stars on GitHub, but is simple and meets all the requirements. Reading the config from yaml contradicts the ideology of 12 factors, but in practice, it is more convenient than reading the entire config from ENV. It is assumed that default values are in yaml, and security-sensitive variables are defined in ENV.

    GoJay

    GoJay

high performance JSON encoder/decoder with stream API for Golang

GoJay is a performant JSON encoder/decoder for Golang (currently the most performant, see benchmarks). It has a simple API and doesn't use reflection. It relies on small interfaces to decode/encode structures and slices. Gojay also comes with powerful stream decoding features and an even faster Unsafe API. There is also a code generation tool to make usage easier and faster. I looked at other fast decoders/encoders and realized it was mostly hardly readable static code generation or a lot of reflection had poor streaming features and were not so fast in the end. Also, I wanted to build a decoder that could consume an io.Reader of line or comma delimited JSON, in a JIT way. To consume a flow of JSON objects from a TCP connection for example or from a standard output. The same way I wanted to build an encoder that could encode a flow of data to a io.Writer.

A cron monitoring tool written in Python & Django

We notify you when your nightly backups, weekly reports, cron jobs, and scheduled tasks don't run on time. Healthchecks is a cron job monitoring service. It listens for HTTP requests and email messages ("pings") from your cron jobs and scheduled tasks ("checks"). When a ping does not arrive on time, Healthchecks sends out alerts. Healthchecks comes with a web dashboard, API, 25+ integrations for delivering notifications, monthly email reports, WebAuthn 2FA support, and team management features: projects, team members, and read-only access. On Healthchecks.io, generate a unique ping URL for your background job. When your job does not ping Healthchecks.io on time, Healthchecks.io alerts you! Update your job to send an HTTP request to the ping URL every time the job runs. A list of your checks, one for each Cron job, daemon or scheduled task you want to monitor.
