Solid is a Python framework for gradient-free optimization. It contains basic versions of many of the most common optimization algorithms that do not require the calculation of gradients, and allows for very rapid development using them.

A parallel-programming framework for concurrently running large numbers of small autonomous jobs, or microthreads, across multiple cores in a CPU or CPUs in a cluster. Each microthread is conceptually similar to a task in Ada and it is much lighter weight than an operating system thread. SpikeOS was designed to handle millions of microthreads, for example in a neural network hosting millions of spiking model neurons. SpikeOS handles microthread scheduling, synchronization, distribution and communication. *** This project has been forked. NeuraNEP (sourceforge.net/projects/neuranep) represents a major update to SpikeOS. It has the same core functionality plus several enhancements, including a scripting interface. NeuraNEP is engineering-oriented, as opposed to simulation-oriented, and some features/capabilities have changed.

A framework library which aims to independize we all, the delphi developers, from the different glitches of the platform, and attempts to provide code that is independent from the OS. It is based on *heavy* use of interfaces. Works on FPC (FreePascal).

The State Controller Library is a generic platform-independent C++ framework that allows finite state machines and multi-action planning generalisations thereof to be realised. The structure and implementation of this library focuses on the application of finite state machines to real-time control loops, but can be reasonably adapted for virtually any other application, even completely unrelated to control systems. An emphasis has been placed on having very low overhead so as not to hurt overall system performance no matter where this library is used, while still maintaining ease of use. Code size has also been kept to a minimum. Aside from implementing standard finite state machines and multi-action planning state machines, this library can also be used to implement hierarchical state controllers, or any hybrid of the three.
