In the spirit of Doug Bagley's Great Language Shootout, we provide our own, up to date version that we intend to run as an open source project, making it easy to contribute new tests, and easy to run the framework on your own computer.

An English, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Hindi & Bengali desktop OS loading from miniCD or USB key with applications and personal config files on floppy or USB key.

Talkware TIARA, an Openbios/GRUB/PFORTH composite, BIOS replacement. Boots an unmodifed linux kernel from an IDE drive or ethernet, using only 128kb of flash. Works with INTEL/AMD K6/2-450, SiS 530/5595 and 8139 enet. VGA & Serial console supported.

As a console terminal, TermFF, with its extensions, connected to a Forth system device can be used as a software development environment.

Wisp is a small Scheme-like language designed to be easily used in various structured data processing tools. The accent is on simplicity, automatical generatibility, and efficiency. (Currently on long hiatus. Gauche has similar goals and is maturer.)

acSMTP is a SMTP/POP3/IMAP mail server for Win32. May serve MX hosts and in-LAN mail. Black/white lists for IPs/Emails, RBL spam blocks, DNS Email validation, optional DBMS backend for lists and rules, custom user authorization, AntiVirus API.

acT - web-terminal with built-in web-server

acWEB is an OpenSource replacement for MS IIS and other proprietary WEB servers for Windows. Unlike IIS, acWEB is not affected by viruses like CodeRed, Nimda, etc :).

apForth is Another Portable Forth implementation started as pForth fork.

bfi (brainfuck interpreter) this is written in both C and GFORTH (both) This is tiny. This is useless so essential this is for education first.

A forth interpreter written in Ansi C, (found on the usenet_jan_94 cd) and is public domain. I have (mostly) ported it to OSX, and that's the version of the source posted here. Source code for a forth program under DOS to generate an estimate for an electrical contractor. It could be adapted for other types of contractors.

Use Ed's DX-Forth to compile this. You can cross-compile this game on any UNIX system using Joseph Allen's CP/M emulator. It requires VT52 compatible terminal to display correctly. This functions library for DX-Forth offers similar capabilities as the Turbo Pascal GSX library and the `cpm-libgsx` C library. Two example Forth programs are also provided for the demonstration purposes.

Avr32fasm is prefix Forth-assembler for AVR32 processors core. Main purpose of project - create base for develop Forth system for AVR32. Avr32fasm provides as assembler for creating low level Forth words.

This is simple Light Cycles imitation written in Forth. Comparing to original game, the carts are moving in waves rather than straight lines. Kgforth is a simple IDE for the gforth interpreter/compiler for KDE 2.** It provides an editor, gforth window,debug and dump window, forth toolbar and menu.

likeForth started out as a weekend challenge and is now a digital schrebergarten to me. It is inspired by sectorForth and project-k.js, many thanks to the developers! Included is a rather simple interpreter and a Forth compiler, which give you an interactive development environment. It doesn't contain most Forth words but will be extended from time to time. I hope, likeForth could be somewhat useful and is therefore published under MIT licence.
