Eirik is a tool for exploring large data sets, by using statistical analyses and multiple linked visualizations for data reduction. It relies on R, QT4 and OpenGL. Developed as part of AstroGrid/VOTech, Eirik uses Ice and xmlrpc for distributed computing.

Patlac--Xml2cpp is a totally customizable code generator that generates classes (c++ for now) automatically from a xsd schema. Classes are described in google-ctemplate files and a xml options file allow precise definition of projects.

Sources and destinations include different SQL and NoSQL backends, file formats like .csv, XML and excel. Even untidy HTML web pages. It has a database abstraction layer that supports connectivity to Postgres, MySQL, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL server. JSON and MongoDB is coming. It uses XML/JSON formats(self-generated SQL schemas) for representing queries, transformation and merging, making it scriptable. This means that QAL can be backend agnostic about a subset of SQL features and data types. Of course custom SQL:s are also supported. It is currently distributed as a Python 3 Library (pip3 install python3-qal) and Debian .deb package. It is related the Optimal BPM project, see its Optimal Sync application for usage examples. The p1451-1 project is a communication protocol dissector plugin for WireShark (formerly Ethereal). This plugin is limited to dissection of IEEE 1451.1 on-the-wire messages. It currently supports header parsing of basic 1451.1 packets and argument arrays

pilot-qof provides a query interface to data on a Palm device, using pilot-link and QOF - the Query Object Framework. pilot-qof supports reading addressbook, datebook, expenses and ToDo data and runs SQL-type queries on the live data or a QSF XML fil

Schema validation with simple dom php classes, that will check the xsd file before the xml based forms will accept any submit. The ajax wrapper should work with widgets to show any validation error to the form user.
