This is a TrueType font (TTF), that is an exact copy of the font used by DOS. I made it using the FontForge software, and the *.CPI fonts bundled with FreeDOS as a model. DOS/EGA is a Unicode-BMP font, therefore it may be used without troubles on modern, multilingual systems. It supports english, french, polish, german, and probably several other languages. Beside its "retro" value, it's a great replacement to the oldish "fixedsys" font.

These fonts are based on the Bitstream Charter fonts which were released by Bitstream for X Window System. The primary goal is to add Cyrillic. Besides, the Khartiya fonts include smallcaps, oldstyle figures and other additional glyphs.

Implementation of a TextView and all its direct/indirect subclasses with native support for the Roboto fonts, including the brand-new Roboto Slab fonts. This is a silly little command line tool for sexy ANSI fonts in the console. Give your cli some love. cfonts detects what colors are supported on your platform. It sets a level of support automatically. In cfonts you can override this by passing in the FORCE_COLOR environment variable. All settings are optional and shown here with their default. A pretty sweet 4px wide pixel font. I never found the pixel font that was perfect for me, so I decided to roll my own with creep. It is a pretty compact (only 4px wide!) font that's great for smaller screens (like my 11" laptop). I'm constantly adding in new characters (diacritics, box-drawing characters, etc.), so I figured I'd put it up on GitHub for people to reap benefits of this. I also recently added some nice Haskell features (that can be used in other languages too)! Creep has most of the basic box drawing characters implemented. Therefore creep usually works with most ncurses-type programs or with tmux window-splitting for example. Creep supports all the symbols needed for Lokaltog's awesome powerline plugin for vim. Creep has the necessary symbols for creating sparklines. This is cool for tools like rainbarf and others. I've added support for a better-looking Haskell syntax. These fonts are intended as a system font replacement on Mac OS X 10.12 Sierra. If you are looking for a Fira Sans for Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan, please use the old release 4.106.1. The fonts are based on version 4.106 of the Fira Sans font family by Erik Spiekermann and Ralph du Carrois, and are licensed under the Open Font License version 1.1 or later. This package has been prepared by Jens Kutilek. Download and unzip the installer file from the Releases section. Right-click Fira System Fonts.pkg and choose "Open" from the context menu.
