Open Source Kotlin Folder Lock Software

Photok is a free, open-source Android photo vault designed to protect private images and videos from unauthorized access. It uses AES-256 encryption to secure imported media directly on the device. Files remain encrypted in storage and are decrypted only in memory while being viewed. Users can import photos and videos from their gallery and organize them into private albums. Fingerprint authentication provides convenient access to the protected vault. Encrypted backup and restoration tools help preserve media when moving between devices. Additional options include hiding the application icon and automatically deleting original files after import. Photok operates without mandatory cloud storage and offers an advertisement-free experience focused on privacy and personal control.
