Tool for copy partitions to another HDD. FreeBSD stores its data on partitions, which incapsulated in slices. Soft, such as Partition Magic, Acronis, etc. detect only slice, not real partitions on that slice. CloneHDD correctly understand size diference.

I have written this short script to correct vowel mutation (Umlaut) errors in filenames. This errors typically occur when you copy files to a system with UTF-8 charset from a system using another charset. One typical case is when a Windows-Client transfers files via FTP on a server using UTF-8. Such errors can't be corrected using convmv.

The GPFS Monitor Suite was developed at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) to assist with the deployment and operation of the GLADE storage envrionment, which utilizes IBM's General Parallel File System (GPFS). The Common Scripting Interface is a pseudofs which provides simple data via Read Write calls much the same as procfs. The goal is to drop the overhead of scripts and up efficiency by removing the need for multiple instances of the same library in RAM

A method of file compresison where the value of all the binary information in a file as one figure is divided by a number, therefore shirtening the size of the file. To decompress you multiply it by that number again.
