New versions @ https://github.com/hansij66/securecopy crccp and crcmv are based on coreutils (v8.23) and add crc checksum functionality to cp and mv commands. Checksums can optionally be stored in the file's xattr. md5cp will traverse a file tree and check the MD5 checksum of each file. If the file is unchanged, it is ignored; if it is changed (or new), its MD5 is updated in the database, and the file is copied to the destination directory.
