Fidoip contain shell scripts, sources which automatically compile and binaries, install FIDO software(Binkd, Hisky HPT and Golded), create directories, setup configuration files and script on FreeBSD, Linux, Android, Windows and *BSD. MBSE BBS is a fully FTN-capable ANSI BBS package including a mailer (ifcico clone), BinkP daemon, mail tosser, TIC processor, filefind, and other utilities allowing access via modem and the Internet using telnet, ssh, http and ftp. Support is offered through the Fidonet MBSE echo and the Micronet MIN_BBS echo.

MakeNL (formerly known as MakeNL_ng) is a replacement of Ben Baker's FidoNet nodelist compiler, with some improvements. It runs under MS-DOS, OS/2, Windows NT, Linux, Mac OS X and other systems.

MultiMail is an offline mail packet reader for Unix and other systems. It currently supports the Blue Wave, QWK, OMEN, OPX and SOUP formats. It has a full screen, color user interface, built with the curses library.

QFE is full-featured cross-platform FTN message editor with a graphical interface. It written on C++/Qt and does not depend on either KDE, Gnome or other window managers. All operations with FIDO message base use fidoconfig library from HUSKY project.

OpenXP is a multi-protocol offline mail and news reader for the text console, supporting Internet email, Usenet, Fidonet, Zconnect, etc. It is based on CrossPoint (XP) by Peter Mandrella.

FMail is an opensource echo mail processor/tosser for Hudson and JAM message bases, released under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3. Also included is a message base maintenance utility with a lot of special features. The Windows version can handle more areas than the old DOS version and is optimized for use with 32 & 64-bit versions of MS Windows. But there is also a preliminary Linux version available.

OpenXP 5 is a multi-protocol offline mail and news reader for the text console, supporting internet email, Usenet, Fidonet, ZConnect, etc. It is based on OpenXP (https://sourceforge.net/p/openxp, currently inactive) which is based on CrossPoint (XP) by Peter Mandrella. This program checks incoming fidonet technology nodelist segments for illegal and redundant nodelist flags, and makes sure submitted segments are up to standard. Fully configurable to suit <othernets> as well as fidonet.
