8-bit chip and system emulators in standalone C headers
Chips is a toolbox of dependency-free C headers for emulating classic 8-bit chips and complete computer systems. Individual chip emulators communicate through virtual pin bit masks that model hardware inputs and outputs. This approach allows complete systems to be assembled by connecting emulated components much like physical chips on a breadboard.
