Mesya is a Java framework for multiple entertainment systems emulation

MetroBoy is a collection of highly experimental and extremely low-level Game Boy simulators that aim to replicate the original hardware at the gate and transistor level rather than through traditional high-level emulation. The project includes multiple related implementations, such as GateBoy and LogicBoy, which simulate the internal circuitry of the Game Boy chip based on reverse-engineered die images. This approach allows for an unprecedented level of accuracy, capturing even subtle electrical behaviors and timing quirks that are typically abstracted away in standard emulators. However, this level of detail comes at a significant performance cost, making the simulator much slower than conventional emulators. The project is primarily intended for research, hardware preservation, and deep technical exploration rather than everyday gameplay. It also includes extensive testing frameworks to validate behavior against known hardware benchmarks and test ROMs.

MiNES is an editor for NES ROMs in the iNES format. I wrote MiNES because I needed a portable iNES editor that would allow me to change the PAL/NTSC bit of the iNES header. MiNES follows the Marat Fayzullin's iNES specification, and takes care to not change any unused (reserved for future use) bits. That way you can be sure that it will not brake your ROMs (unless you do something stupid), and preserve compatibility with future versions of the iNES format. MiNES computes ROM's CRC32 and uses an internal database to guess the game's title and correct (recommended) header settings.

MobileZX is a 48k ZX Spectrum emulator for mobile devices with support for J2ME MIDP2.0. It is oriented to devices such as PDAs and mobile phones.

Mooneye GB is a Game Boy research project and emulator written in Rust. The main goals of this project are accuracy and documentation. Some existing emulators are very accurate (Gambatte, BGB >= 1.5) but are not documented very clearly, so they are not that good references for emulator developers. I want this project to document as clearly as possible why certain behavior is emulated in a certain way. This also means writing a lot of test ROMs to figure out corner cases and precise behavior on real hardware. The emulator is lagging behind hardware research. I don't want to spend time making short-lived and probably incorrect fixes to the emulator if I'm not sure about the hardware behavior. On an i7-3770K desktop machine, I can usually run ROMs with 2000 - 4000% speed. Without optimizations, the speed drops to 150 - 200%, which is still fine for development purposes.

MultiTCP is a benchmark environment for testing TCP congestion avoidance algorithms and other TCP enhancements. It uses the kernel logs to print out segments statistics and internal TCP variables, to analyze and understand Linux TCP behavior.

Ellipsis is a modular, agent-oriented, and extendable toolkit to execute stationary and mobile software agents written in the Java programming language. Ellipsis uses the standard application server JBoss (version 4.2.3 GA) without any modifications. In contrast to existing mobile agent toolkits, Ellipsis has an agent- and message-oriented architecture. Ellipsis is built on top of the JMX architecture. Core Ellipsis components are implemented as MBeans which provides for basic ser-vices to execute agents and control their life-cycle. One of the core components is a special MBean (AgentModul) that makes it possible to load an agent powered by agent engines. Agent engines can execute one type of agent. Based on this mechanism, agents can be added dynamically to a running system, can be stopped (for example in case of an error) and restarted later. Ellipsis already comes with a predefined set of agents, offering basic services like agency, loader, holdingarea and migration.

MyUAE is a Palm OS port of E-UAE, the Amiga emulator. MyUAE is written in C and needs CodeWarrior to compile. It needs PalmOS 5.0 or better and a fast processor. MyUAE supports sound, a virtual keyboard and a configurable button assignment.
