With Virtual Reflectometer (VR), you can simulate the basic alignment scans of a basic X ray reflectometer (diffractometer) with a Goebel mirror using ray tracing. With this program, you can characterize reflectometers and get a reflectometer-dependent overillumination correction for X Ray Reflectivity (XRR) scans. The pogram serves as an educational tool for explaining alignment and for a proper overillumination correction of XRR data. !!

Using the A-Frame WebVR framework, this web based application allows users to create VR and AR webpages for whatever they want - teaching resources, visualization, sharing your 3d models in a very cool way, and much much more! The VR pages can be used with google cardboard, but also can be viewed in the browser and used with the steam vive and oculus rift (untested). VRG3D is a library that uses G3D and implements a minimal set of features required to run applications written with G3D in projection based virtual reality environments, such as Caves and Fish Tanks.
