LMC_by_alexiskappa is an educational/fun program to view and learn the Little Man Computer concept in action. Little Man Computer models the von Neumann architecture, which has the basic features of a computer. Just enter your instructions/data inside the boxes. Remember that commands are three digit numbers with the first number being the instruction and the next two digits being the memory address box. LMCv1_by_alexiskappa has the general instructions displayed. Just write your commands/data inside the boxes 00-99 [MEMORY] and then click on the "RUN" button. "RESET" clears the contents of the boxes. LMCv2_by_alexiskappa has a simple animation, showing the order of each step. Just click the button "Animation OFF" to enable it, before clicking the "RUN" button. Easter Egg: Try adding in box 00 the number 601 and in box 01 the number 600. Kidware is currently a few flash apps for helping very young kids with learning mouse control, counting and basic sets. I tried to keep as much distraction out of the games as possible, in part, because I want the kids to focus on learning the tech above being amused. Hopefully kids will quickly learn these techniques and then use them to play some more advanced games. Currently, most of the games do not come with sound or instruction so the teacher/adult may need to demonstrate the game. The games are also up on kongregate.com where some of them use that system to track high scores, however, there is a lot more visual spam on that site. More levels and audio are planned for future updates. Open to suggestions for future games. Check out wudiware.com for some of the other projects, like brainstorm browser, which is more for an older audience.
