A Python script for estimating the grain size from thin sections
Homepage & docs: http://marcoalopez.github.io/GrainSizeTools/
GrainSizeTools is a free, open-source, cross-platform script written in Python that provides several tools for (1) estimating average grain size in polycrystalline materials, (2) characterizing the nature of the distribution of grain sizes (either from apparent distributions or approximating 3D grain size distributions via stereology), and estimating differential stress via paleopizometers. The script requires as the input the...
SBP-SAT finite difference code for the Laplacian in complex geometries
...The paper considers narrow-stencil summation-by-parts finite difference methods and derives new penalty terms for boundary and interface conditions. The new penalty terms are significantly less stiff than the previous state-of-the-art method on curvilinear grids. On highly skewed grids, there may be an order of magnitude or more difference in the time-step restriction.
WODA (Well Outline and Design Aid) is a groundwater simulator developed at the Group for Numerical Analysis, Jaroslav Cerni Institute, Belgrade, Serbia.
WODA does not have its own graphical user interface, but it can work with groundwater models constructed using the freely available Lizza interface, http://www.bioirc.ac.rs/index.php/groundwater-flow-software.
Auth0 Token Vault handles secure token storage, exchange, and refresh for external providers so you don't have to build it yourself.
Rolling your own OAuth token storage can be a security liability. Token Vault securely stores access and refresh tokens from federated providers and handles exchange and renewal automatically. Connected accounts, refresh exchange, and privileged worker flows included.
jk3d is a java code for 3d interpolation of scattered data. jk3d uses a quality weighted ordinary Kriging method and optional an inverse distances weighting method. It has no graphical user interface and uses ASCII files to define the input.
DSS student toolbox is an interface created over the Direct Sequential Simulation algorithm created by A. Soares, 2001. It allows you to launch this simulation method using simple tools from a GUI.
NOTE: this software development is deprecated. You can perform the same operations in our newest software GEOMS2 (beta release). You can download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/geoms2/

Project goal is to generate a toolkit for 2D and 3D bathymetric mesh generation via an anisotropic adaptive mesh method. Emphasis is on approximation with clearly defined error goals so that the final model is quantitatively useful.

MongoDB Atlas gives you the freedom to build and run modern applications anywhere—across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. With global availability in over 115 regions, Atlas lets you deploy close to your users, meet compliance needs, and scale with confidence across any geography.
PIHM is a multiprocess, multi-scale hydrologic model where the major hydrological processes are fully coupled using the semi-discrete finite volume method.
Seismic Wave Propagation in 2D acoustic or elastic media using the following methods:
Staggered-Grid Finite Difference Method, Spectral Element Method, Interior-Penalty Discontinuous Galerkin Method, and Isogeometric Method.
Reconstruction technique of internal velocities structure of massives using tomography method. The reconstruction uses as input data the recorded traveltime of direct propagating seismic waves and spatial coordinates of emission and reception points.
Contains tools and executables for performing isoline retrieval as described in the paper: Peter Mills (2009) "Isoline retrieval: An optimal method for validation of advected contours." Computers & Geoscience, 35 (11); 2020-2031.
