LXDE on Cygwin provides all the important remote network tools (SSH, PUTTY, X11, VNC, FTP,SFTP, MOSH, FILEZILLA ...) and Unix commands (bash, ls, cat, sed, grep, awk, rsync, python, git ...) to Windows desktop. The program was created mainly as an alternative to MobaXterm with the original purpose of connecting Window$$ computers directly to HPC clusters, to use X11 apps and not only.
