This is a software/hardware development tool that allows the user to send strings on an interface (parallel,serial, network or other), specified in hexadecimal or strings or a combination of these. The strings can be retrieved/stored from/to a file.

Based upon my 20+ year old super fast QCrt text mode display driver, QuickCrt is an event driven object-oriented framework for rapid application development using Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS. Completely self contained, it uses no 3rd party or original Borland units (excluding the built-in System unit). It uses no Turbo Vision and is more like Delphi minus the drag and drop. It has support for String formatting, Custom text fonts, Themes, Keyboard mappings, Config files and Multiple languages baked into it. However, this initial version is more of a "Proof of Concept" and engine for PGME. Rather than an actual project. It has some serious limitations. Since it was built in a "vacuum" with no pre-planning, it is a little bit of spaghetti code. Also, it doesn't support real windowing, multi-tasking or draw behind visible objects. SRL is the SCAR Resource Library, a vast open source library for a color-clicking program called SCAR. SRL has about every function or procedure anyone would need to use, and more are being added all of the time. It is programmed in pascal and delphi.

This projects aims to convert the SDL (Simple Directmedia Library) C-headers to Pascal. So every freepascal or delphi-programmer will be able to use the SDL.

This Pascal compiler was created by the Computer Science Department of SUNY in Stony Brook back in 1975. The Pascal compiler generates code for the IBM 360 and is written in XPL. This project includes the source code for the Pascal compiler and the XPL compiler. This project also includes an IBM/360 simulator capable of running the output of both the Pascal compiler and the XPL compiler. The simulator is written in C and can run on most machines with a C compiler.
