The Lazarus IDE is a stable and feature rich visual programming environment for the FreePascal Compiler. It supports the creation of self-standing graphical and console applications and runs on Linux, FreeBSD, MacOSX and Windows.

The strace project has been moved to https://strace.io. strace is a diagnostic, debugging and instructional userspace tracer for Linux. It is used to monitor and tamper with interactions between userspace processes and the Linux kernel, which include system calls, signal deliveries, and changes of process state. The operation of strace is made possible by the kernel feature known as ptrace.

Flipper is a platform for debugging iOS, Android and React Native apps. Visualize, inspect, and control your apps from a simple desktop interface. Use Flipper as is or extend it using the plugin API. Flipper aims to be your number one companion for mobile app development on iOS and Android. Therefore, we provide a bunch of useful tools including a log viewer, interactive layout inspector, and network inspector. Flipper is built as a platform. In addition to using the tools already included, you can create your own plugins to visualize and debug data from your mobile apps. Flipper takes care of sending data back and forth, calling functions, and listening for events on the mobile app. Both Flipper's desktop app and native mobile SDKs are open-source and MIT licensed. This enables you to see and understand how we are building plugins, and of course join the community and help improve Flipper. We are excited to see what you will build on this platform.

Lazarus is a free and open source development tool for the Free Pascal Compiler. The purpose of this project is to serve as a Code Repository, Wiki Knowledgebase and support site for converting existing components and libraries to work with Lazarus and the Free Pascal Compiler.

Bot Framework Emulator is a desktop application that allows bot developers to test and debug bots, either locally or remotely. Using the Emulator, you can chat with your bot and inspect the messages that your bot sends and receives. The Emulator displays messages as they would appear in a web chat UI and logs JSON requests and responses as you exchange messages with your bot. Before you deploy your bot to the cloud, run it locally and test it using the Emulator. You can test your bot using the Emulator even if you haven't yet created it with Azure Bot Service or configured it to run on any channels. Before connecting your bot to the Bot Framework Emulator, you need to run your bot locally. You can use Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code to run your bot, or use the command line. When you are developing behind a corporate proxy, the Emulator will use the configured environment variables HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY, which specify the proxy URL route for HTTP and HTTPs requests.

scanmem is a debugging utility designed to isolate the address of an arbitrary variable in an executing process. scanmem simply needs to be told the pid of the process and the value of the variable at several different times. After several scans of the process, scanmem isolates the position of the variable and allows you to modify its value.

CxxTest is a unit testing framework for C++ that is similar in spirit to JUnit, CppUnit, and xUnit. CxxTest is easy to use because it does not require precompiling a CxxTest testing library, it employs no advanced features of C++ (e.g. RTTI) and it supports a very flexible form of test discovery.

DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) is a multi-platform memory debugging library. It can detect memory leaks and buffer overruns (or underruns) in a malloc() / new memory buffer. James is an HTTP Proxy and Monitor that enables developers to view and intercept requests made from the browser. It is an open-source alternative to the popular developer tool Charles. James is built with hoxy, electron and react. Use wildcards in the "url to map" field, put a "*" between two adjacent slashes. The electron instance will automatically reload whenever a change is made. Download the correct version for your OS.

Virtual T is a TRS-80 Model 100/102/200 emulator that runs on Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. The goal of Virtual T is to provide 100% hardware emulation so any existing programs will run. It also adds powerful development and debugging tools.

BotKube is a messaging bot for monitoring and debugging Kubernetes clusters. It's built and maintained by InfraCloud. BotKube can be integrated with multiple messaging platforms like - Slack, Mattermost, Microsoft Teams to help you monitor your Kubernetes cluster(s), debug critical deployments and gives recommendations for standard practices by running checks on the Kubernetes resources. BotKube watches Kubernetes resources and sends a notification to the channel if any event occurs for example a ImagePullBackOff error. You can customize the objects and level of events you want to get from the Kubernetes cluster. You can turn on/off notifications simply by sending a message to @BotKube. BotKube can execute kubectl commands on Kubernetes cluster without giving access to Kubeconfig or underlying infrastructure. With BotKube you can debug your deployment, services or anything about your cluster right from your messaging window.

Delve is a debugger for the Go programming language. The goal of the project is to provide a simple, full featured debugging tool for Go. Delve should be easy to invoke and easy to use. Chances are if you're using a debugger, things aren't going your way. With that in mind, Delve should stay out of your way as much as possible. Delve aims to be a very simple and powerful tool, but can be confusing if you're not used to using a source level debugger in a compiled language. This document will provide all the information you need to get started debugging your Go programs. The first CLI subcommand we will explore is debug. This subcommand can be run without arguments if you're in the same directory as your main package, otherwise it optionally accepts a package path.
