PHP Polar Tools is a set of PHP classes for the parsing and management of Polar Heart Rate Monitor data.

Membrane Computing is a new research area (within Natural Computing) that aims to provide computing devices abstracted from the functioning and structure of living cells. These devices are called P systems. The objective of this project (PMCGPU) is to bring together all the researchers working on the development of parallel simulators for P systems, specially those using the GPU (e.g. CUDA, OpenCL, etc). Other parallel platforms are also welcome (multicore and manycore, FPGAs, etc). This project has been initiated by the Research Group on Natural Computing (Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, University of Seville). PMCGPU was born inside the P-Lingua project, of the same research group. PMCGPU is a GNU project, so all the applications developed within it are released under the GPLv3 license. The first parallel Smith-Waterman algorithm exploiting Intel Xeon Phi clusters to accelerate the alignment of long DNA sequences. This algorithm is written in C++ (with a set of SIMD intrinsic extensions), OpenMP and MPI. The performance evaluation revealed that our algorithm achieves very stable performance, and yields a performance of up to 30.1 GCUPS on a single Xeon Phi and up to 111.4 GCUPS on four Xeon Phis sharing a host.

Spreadsort is a fast general-case in-place hybrid radix/comparison algorithm, which tends to be roughly twice as fast as std::sort. This library has calls to sort integers, floats, or strings, or other data types based upon integer, float, or string keys

Syntactic is a simple C++ library for constructing general Neural networks. For now the library supports creation of multi layered networks for the Feedforward Backpropagation algorithm as well as Time Series Networks. More will be implemented soon.

An implementation of Bruhn et al.'s fast variational optical flow algorithm using the OpenCV image processing library. The code calculates dense flow fields with a user-specified level of precision.

CLAW is a C++ Library providing various tools in different domains, like a Tweener framework, Bézier curves manipulation, a map with multiple value types, a binary search tree container implemented as an AVL and an implementation of the sockets as std::stream. libfgen is a library that implements an efficient and customizable genetic algorithm (GA). It also provides particle swarm optimization (PSO) functionality and an interface for real-valued function minimization or model fitting. It is written in C, but can also be compiled with a C++ compiler. Both Linux and Windows are supported.
