This SourceForge project will be kept as a read-only archive and will be eventually removed!
Speed Dreams is a Motorsport Simulator featuring high-quality 3D graphics and an accurate physicsengine, all targeting maximum realism. Initially forked from TORCS, it has now reached a clearly higher realism level in visual and physics simulation, thanks to its active development team...
gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL).
SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. It provides wrappers to Python, R, Ruby, Tcl, C#, Java, and GNU Octave.
OpenArena is a 3d game creation engine. It is a rendering system that can be used for more than just games but it is targeted at games. The basic use being create some game media textures models maps and config files for physics and rules.
The TuxCap Games Framework is a GNU/Linux and Mac OSX port of the PopCap Games Framework used for 2D game development. It comes with PyCap Python bindings, a fast 2D physicsengine, a particle engine, widgets and many documented examples.
Monitor the status and performance of any IT environment with NMIS
NMIS monitors an organization’s IT environment, helps identify and rectify faults, and provides valuable information for IT planning.
Trusted by thousands of IT teams worldwide, The NMIS platform offers comprehensive network management, handling faults, performance, and configurations with ease.
landshade is a C++ library for quick tesselation of complex 3D data like terrain and other curves surfaces at different levels of detail on modern graphics hardware.
..., this led me in a search open-source APIs to integrate, because the idea is to be able to compile everything to at least Windows, Linux, Android, and Mac OSX operating systems.
After a few months of research, I came up with the following list of projects:
-Ogre3D
-BulletPhysics
-MYGUI
-OgreVideoPlugin
-OgreOggSound
-OpenAL
To stick with this idea, I recommend the use of some Tools, such as Eclipse, Code::Blocks and msys2/MinGW64 for the development environment.
We've moved to https://github.com/tjod/gMol/wiki
gMol is an interactive visualization system used to display and manipulate 3-dimensional models of scientific data, such as molecular structures and surfaces. It contains both OpenGL and web browser widgets that enable flexible user interfaces.
Troll enables creation and visualisation of complex environments. It is based on Ogre3D (graphics engine), Bullet (physicsengine), PhysX (physicsengine), OpenAL (3D sound and music), OpenCV (image analysis and camera model) and Boost (threading and python binding). It uses Python for scripting, as well as built in simple scripting language.
Some features:
- built in multiplayer
- incorporating data from different sensors (IMU, AHRS, Razer Hydra)
- image server/client
- built in support...
Trusted by nearly 20,000 customers worldwide, and all major cloud providers.
OpenVPN's products provide scalable, secure remote access — giving complete freedom to your employees to work outside the office while securely accessing SaaS, the internet, and company resources.
This game engine uses the power of C++, OpenGL, and OpenAL to provide highly-portable, object-oriented code for programming a video game. Rather than tailoring to a specific type of game, the engine focuses on the fundamental components. It covers audio, graphics, controls, and data flow. With G2, developers have everything they need to create a 2D game without the need of expensive SDKs.
Free to join for developers who support the Free Software Foundation cause. This is my research project from 2003, which I recently updated with acceleration- and console changes (Surround Sound, Doppler Effects, Device Updates, Physics) in a long weekend but project should be considered abandoned. Additionally, the Performer libraries have been abandoned by Silicon Graphics. Minor setup- and make reconfiguration bugs, no changes planned. The Command Centre is a Simulation Programming Framework...
mialib is a core library for game development and interactive graphics research, this has utility modules and defines a framework for developing graphical applications like games.
All pairs n-body simulation of electromagnetic forces on charged particles, adapted from Nvidia SDK 3.2 sample. Uses Lorentz force from EM fields via the Biot-Savart law for moving charged particles (uses relative velocity). Relativistic.
It started as a simple physics API for educational purposes, but now its development is clearly focused on gaming and will be incorporated to a next-gen engine.
R.I.S.E. is a state of the art engine and framework for the simulation and realistic image synthesis of natural phenomenon based on physics, biology and chemistry.
