Free, high-quality, open-source icon library with over 1,600 icons. Include them any way you like, SVGs, SVG sprite, or web fonts. Use them with or without Bootstrap in any project. Bootstrap Icons are published to npm, but they can also be manually downloaded if needed. Bootstrap Icons are SVGs, so you can include them into your HTML in a few ways depending on how your project is setup. We recommend using a width: 1em (and optionally height: 1em) for easy resizing via font-size. Embed your icons within the HTML of your page (as opposed to an external image file). Here we’ve used a custom width and height. Use the SVG sprite to insert any icon through the <use> element. Use the icon’s filename as the fragment identifier (e.g., toggles is #toggles). SVG sprites allow you to reference an external file similar to an <img> element, but with the power of currentColor for easy theming. -

Updated font generation to support advanced OpenType features like those found in Fira Code. For example, the cursor now moves inside the ligature. It also handles repeating characters properly. -

LightBulb is a desktop application designed to reduce eye strain by adjusting your monitor’s gamma and color temperature based on the time of day. As daylight fades into evening, LightBulb gradually transitions the display from cooler (blueish) tones to warmer (yellowish) tones, aiming to align your screen’s light with ambient lighting conditions and help lessen visual discomfort during late-night use. The tool is highly customizable, allowing users to define sunrise and sunset times manually or automatically via location, and tweak how the transition behaves. The fonts' source files and build instructions are available in the repository's master branch. Provides several types and styles of fonts for coding purposes. To build the binary font files from source, you need Python 3 along with the Adobe Font Development Kit for OpenType (AFDKO) and FontTools packages. The key to building the OTF fonts is makeotf, which is part of the AFDKO toolset. Information and usage instructions can be found by executing makeotf -h. The TTFs are generated with the otf2ttf and ttfcomponentizer tools. For convenience, a shell script named build.sh is provided in the root directory. It builds all OTFs and TTFs into a directory called target/. -

A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness. Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. That prompted me to make the bitmap font I always wished existed: Cozette; a small-but-not-tiny bitmap font with great coverage of all the glyphs you might encounter in the terminal. I'm intentionally putting the emphasis on "you" - although Cozette already has all the glyphs I've seen in my CLI tools so far, you might find it's missing a glyph you wish it had. If that's the case, please file an issue! It's an important goal for Cozette to be a useful bitmap alternative to Nerd Fonts. Bitmap fonts are, effectively, just that - bitmaps. -

Redshift adjusts the color temperature of your screen according to your surroundings. This may help your eyes hurt less if you are working in front of the screen at night. This program is inspired by f.lux. Redshift adjusts the color temperature according to the position of the sun. A different color temperature is set during night and daytime. During twilight and early morning, the color temperature transitions smoothly from night to daytime temperature to allow your eyes to slowly adapt. At night the color temperature should be set to match the lamps in your room. This is typically a low temperature at around 3000K-4000K (default is 3700K). During the day, the color temperature should match the light from outside, typically around 5500K-6500K (default is 5500K). The light has a higher temperature on an overcast day. -
