A bitmap programming font optimized for coziness
...Cozette is a 6x13px (bounding box; average 5px character width, 3px descent, 10px ascent, 8px cap height) bitmap font based on Dina, which itself is based on Proggy. It's also heavily inspired by Creep. I absolutely adore Creep, and was using it up until I got a higher-DPI screen for which it was slightly too small. That prompted me to make the bitmap font I always wished existed: Cozette; a small-but-not-tiny bitmap font with great coverage of all the glyphs you might encounter in the terminal. I'm intentionally putting the emphasis on "you" - although Cozette already has all the glyphs I've seen in my CLI tools so far, you might find it's missing a glyph you wish it had. ... -

Dark win95 IceWM theme
...This theme is, in general, just to be a good-looking, basic dark theme. IceWM has a default theme called win95 which is meant to look similar to the look of the Windows 95 operating system. I like that theme since it's pretty basic, but I wanted a dark version. Light colours are turned into darker colours, and vice versa. Tooltips are slightly yellowish in older Windows versions, so I made them dark turquoise, and title bars have a smoother blue colour. -

Each character has been carefully redesigned to work in a monospaced font. ...We use a similar approach as many other icon sets out there, providing icons as several webfonts that uses Unicode's Private Use Area character codes to map normally non-rendering characters to icons. Simply add one or more weights by including its stylesheet to the document head, and drop in icons with an i tag and the appropriate classes for the weight and the icon. Phosphor Icons come in 6 weights: regular, thin, light, bold, fill, and duotone. In order to use a weight, you must include a link to its stylesheet, and use the appropriate weight class on the icon (the regular weight uses .ph instead of .ph-regular). -

...The SLiM project used to be hosted on Berlios.de with a mirror on SourceForge. Then the code got moved to Github. Then all the maintainers lost interest and it died. Nine years later, I'm still using it as I find it the most easily configurable, most lightweight option for the small Linux systems I build. But with upstream being dead and Gentoo needing 13 patch files to make it work, there was a risk it would vanish from the repository. So I forked it, applied all the patches, plus some of my own, and started my own spin-off here. -

A 3270 font in a modern format
This font is derived from the x3270 font, which, in turn, was translated from the one in Georgia Tech's 3270tool, which was itself hand-copied from a 3270 series terminal. I built it because I felt terminals deserve to be pretty. The .sfd font file contains a x3270 bitmap font that was used for guidance. The "source" file is edited using FontForge. You'll need it if you want to generate fonts for your platform.
