    shod

    shod

Mouse-based window manager to tile windows inside floating containers

shod is a mouse-based X11 window manager that can tile and tab windows inside floating containers. To tile windows, drag-and-drop the titlebar of one window into the border of the other with the right mouse button. The entire grid of tiles is called a "container", and can float around on the screen. shod works via mouse, possibly with a given modifier (Alt by default), and by responding to client messages sent by the shodc utility (shod's remote controller). With the exception of the alt-tab combination for cycling windows, shod does no keybinding by itself and relies on other applications (such as sxhkd) for that.

    movemouse

Move mouse pointer between screens with the keyboard

movemouse lets you 'memorize' several positions of the mouse pointer on however many screens you may have and then jump back to any of those positions using keyboard shortcuts. It will also optionally simulate a left mouse button 'click' after the move to raise the focus of the moved to location. Although it can be used on single monitor systems, the purpose of movemouse is to make it easy to jump between open windows on multiple monitor systems. When all screens are occupied with GUI applications and your hand is on the mouse anyway, movemouse is not so useful, but when you have your hands on the keyboard and want to jump to another window it is irritating to have to grab the mouse just to move the pointer to the other screen. ...
