XLS is an open-source toolkit for building high-level hardware with a modern compiler stack that spans from a functional DSL to optimized IR and hardware generation. At the front end, DSLX lets you describe algorithms with strong typing and familiar control flow while remaining synthesis-friendly. The compiler lowers DSLX into a rich intermediate representation, applies aggressive optimization and scheduling passes, and can either JIT the design for software simulation or emit Verilog for FPGA/ASIC flows. A key idea is “software-style” iteration: fast, deterministic simulation via the JIT encourages test-driven development and property checking before committing to RTL. XLS also provides tooling for pipelining, state insertion, and formal equivalence checks between different stages, giving developers confidence as designs evolve. The result is a productive path from high-level specification to real hardware, without giving up control over latency, throughput, and area trade-offs.

ConceptBase.cc is a multi-user deductive and object-oriented database system for metamodeling and method engineering. Includes a graphical client that builds upon the logic-based features of the ConceptBase.cc server. The data model is O-Telos. ConceptBase.cc can represent information at the data level (example data, traces of process executions etc.), the class level (schemas, process definitions etc.), the metaclass level (constructs of modeling languages), the meta-metaclass level (constructs for defining modeling languages), and so forth. ConceptBase.cc is developed by the ConceptBase Team at University of Skövde (HIS). ConceptBase.cc supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. ConceptBase.cc is free software distributed under a FreeBSD-style license.

TTFviewer is a small tool for developers to view and preview various ttf font/icon image formats. It is based on Qt and supports windows/linux/macos.

HiPS tool is developed at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shinshu University, which is a tool design and analysis of Petri nets, developed using Microsoft Visual C # and C++. HiPS tool has a way of intuitive GUI which enable hierarchical and/or timed-net design. HiPS tool has also functions of static/dynamic analysis : T-invariant detection, Reachability path analysis, deadlock state detection, and k-boundedness analysis. In addition, it is possible to perform a random walk simulation with each firing steps.

ObjectBuilder is a C++ code generation CASE tool (CASE, code generation, refactoring, documentation generation). It lets you create, manipulate and navigate classes, class relations, class members and class methods at a high level of abstraction. ObjectBuilder dramatically simplify work with C++ project architecture. I use it and think that tree OO interface targeted to C++ more fast and power than UML class diagrams. ObjectBuilder perfectly organize C++ header files with any level of complexity. Even if you use loop-references if OO hierarchy, you need include only one project-level header file. You can easy modify and refactore existing project with cut/copy/paste ANY object (from Method Argument to entire Project) within project and between ObjectBuilder projects. ObjectBuilder is not an IDE tool. It is portable two-way architect code-generation tool.

With the help of the ProgramNet the user can develop plug-ins(called units) which can be connected with other units forming a net. The net has a form of a flow diagram. The resulted net can be executed in the ProgramNet for testing purposes or independently in the target platform as a final release. In order to execute a net the ProgramNet uses the kernel. The kernel executes automatically each unit in a separate thread and manages the data exchange between the units.

dep-graphV is an useful development tool, written in C++ and powered by Qt and GraphViz, that creates a graph of your codebase, by parsing every #include statement found in the project's root folder. It is helpful when you need to analize and visualize the dependecy tree, highlightining cycles and "useless paths", and It means, in short, that you could drastically reduce build times, especially when working on large-scale projects.

Code Appearance is a small application that beautify the code before you put it on a forum or a website. What it does? It adds color to the code, like the syntax highlighting of your favorite IDE. The syntax files are easily customizable. How it works? You choose a syntax file, these files can be downloaded or made by you, and write/copy/open your code and click on execute. A new window will pop up with the result. On this new window, you will be able to save or copy the code to the clipboard.
