DCRDEX is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange platform that enables non-custodial trading between different blockchain assets. It uses atomic swap technology to facilitate direct, trustless transactions without requiring centralized control of user funds. The exchange provides familiar trading functionality through order books, market orders, and limit orders. Transactions settle on-chain through atomic swap contracts, eliminating the need for intermediary tokens or trading fees. DCRDEX is integrated into Bison Wallet, which also supports advanced trading strategies such as market-making and arbitrage. Its matching system uses trading epochs and reputation rules to promote orderly transactions. The project also develops Tatanka Mesh, a peer-to-peer network designed to decentralize exchange coordination and improve censorship resistance.
