The EZtkprof package wraps the actual tkprof UNIX utility but provides the exact same functionality through a db package thereby eliminating the overhead of trace file maintenance. The package is very easy to use and in fact eliminates several steps required to run the traditional OS tkprof because it automatically generates the trace file, “tkprofs” it and displays the output on the user’s screen.
