    lmdb-js

    lmdb-js

Simple, efficient, ultra-fast, scalable data store wrapper for LMDB

This is an ultra-fast NodeJS, Bun, and Deno interface to LMDB; probably the fastest and most efficient key-value/database interface that exists for storage and retrieval of structured JS data (objects, arrays, etc.) in a true persisted, scalable, ACID compliant database. It provides a simple interface for interacting with LMDB, as a key-value db, which makes it easy to fully leverage the power, crash-proof design, and efficiency of LMDB using intuitive JavaScript, and is designed to scale across multiple processes or threads. Several key features make it idiomatic, highly performant, and easy to use LMDB efficiently.

    mometa

    mometa

    R&D-oriented low-code meta-programming, code visual editing, etc.

Mometa is not a traditional mainstream low-code platform (such as amis/Yunfengdie), mometa is a research and development-oriented, code visual design and editing platform; it is more like Dreamweaver, gui visual editing for programmers. The positioning of mometa is more based on the local development mode of programmers, adding the ability of visual coding (modification is also the local code file itself); it is more like an auxiliary coding tool, rather than No-Code (amis/Cloud Phoenix Butterfly ) platform solution; it is not recommended to set up a local development environment for remote services, so no online deployment is done. The current implementation relies on the webpack dev development model, and compatibility with vite will be considered in the future.

    pgactive

    pgactive

PostgreSQL replication extension to create an active-active database

pgactive is an open-source extension for PostgreSQL that enables active-active replication across multiple database instances—meaning each node can accept writes and replicate changes to other nodes. Traditionally PostgreSQL supports active-standby setups (single writable master), but pgactive opens up use cases such as multi-region high-availability clusters, low-latency writes from distributed apps, and blue/green migrations where both sides are writable. It builds on PostgreSQL’s logical replication framework and offers mechanisms for conflict detection, resolution (e.g., last-write-wins), monitoring of lag and writes across nodes. Because active-active replication introduces new complexity (conflicts, schema changes, write amplification), pgactive provides tools for managing replication sets, conflict logging tables, and administrative commands to detach nodes or remove the extension.

Encrypted mobile key-value storage framework for React Native

An ultra fast(0.0002s read/write), small & encrypted mobile key-value storage framework for React Native written in C++ using JSI. This library aims to provide a fast & reliable solution for you data storage needs in react-native apps. It uses MMKV by Tencent under the hood on Android and iOS both that is used by their WeChat app(more than 1 Billion users). Unlike other storage solutions for React Native, this library lets you store any kind of data type, in any number of database instances, with or without encryption in a very fast and efficient way. Read about it on this blog post I wrote on dev.to. Starting from v0.5.0 the library has been rewritten in C++ on Android and iOS both. It employs React Native JSI making it the fastest storage option for React Native. MMKV uses mmap to keep memory synced with file, and protobuf to encode/decode values to achieve the best performance.

    rqlite

    rqlite

The lightweight, distributed relational database built on SQLite

rqlite is an easy-to-use, lightweight, distributed relational database, which uses SQLite as its storage engine. rqlite is simple to deploy, operating it is very straightforward, and its clustering capabilities provide you with fault-tolerance and high availability. rqlite is available for Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows. rqlite gives you the functionality of a rock solid, fault-tolerant, replicated relational database, but with very easy installation, deployment, and operation. With it you've got a lightweight and reliable distributed relational data store. Think etcd or Consul, but with relational data modeling also available. You could use rqlite as part of a larger system, as a central store for some critical relational data, without having to run larger, more complex distributed databases. rqlite uses Raft to achieve consensus across all the instances of the SQLite databases, ensuring that every change made to the system is made to a quorum of SQLite databases.

    rust-rocksdb

    rust-rocksdb

    Rust wrapper for rocksdb

Binding is statically linked with a specific version of RocksDB. If you want to build it yourself, make sure you've also cloned the RocksDB and compression submodules. By default, support for the Snappy, LZ4, Zstd, Zlib, and Bzip2 compression is enabled through crate features. If support for all of these compression algorithms is not needed, default features can be disabled and specific compression algorithms can be enabled. The underlying RocksDB does allow column families to be created and dropped from multiple threads concurrently. But this crate doesn't allow it by default for compatibility. If you need to modify column families concurrently, enable crate feature called multi-threaded-cf, which makes this binding's data structures to use RwLock by default.

Open Source, Google Zanzibar-inspired permissions database

SpiceDB is a graph database purpose-built for storing and evaluating access control data. As of 2021, broken access control became the #1 threat to the web. With SpiceDB, developers finally have the solution to stopping this threat the same way as the hyperscalers. Open Source, Google Zanzibar-inspired permissions database to enable fine-grained access control for customer applications. Building modern authorization from scratch is non-trivial and requires years of development from domain experts. Until SpiceDB, the only developers with access to these workflows were employed by massive tech companies that could invest in building mature, but proprietary solutions. Now we have a community organized around sharing this technology so that the entire industry can benefit.

    sqlc

    sqlc

    Generate type-safe code from SQL

sqlc generates type-safe code from SQL. Here's how it works. You write queries in SQL. You run sqlc to generate code with type-safe interfaces to those queries. You write application code that calls the generated code. Seriously, it's that easy. You don't have to write any boilerplate SQL querying code ever again. See the current list of supported programming languages and databases. sqlc needs to know your database schema and queries in order to generate code.

    sqlitedict

    sqlitedict

Persistent dict, backed by sqlite3 and pickle, multithread-safe

sqlitedict is a lightweight Python wrapper that provides a persistent dictionary backed by SQLite. Applications interact with stored data using familiar dictionary operations such as indexing, keys, values, items, and length. Values can contain any picklable Python object instead of being restricted to basic SQL types. Multiple independent dictionary tables can live inside the same SQLite database file. The library supports access to one connection from multiple threads while internally serializing database operations. Developers can enable automatic commits or explicitly control transactions for better performance. Custom serializers allow alternatives such as JSON or compressed binary values, and context-manager support automatically closes database connections.
