    Automa.jl

    Automa.jl

A julia code generator for regular expressions

Automa is a regex-to-Julia compiler. By compiling regex to Julia code in the form of Expr objects, Automa provides facilities to create efficient and robust regex-based lexers, tokenizers and parsers using Julia's metaprogramming capabilities. You can view Automa as a regex engine that can insert arbitrary Julia code into its input-matching process, which will be executed when certain parts of the regex match an input.

    Luxor

    Luxor

Simple drawings using vector graphics; Cairo "for tourists!"

Luxor is a Julia package for drawing simple static 2D vector graphics. It provides basic drawing functions and utilities for working with shapes, polygons, clipping masks, PNG and SVG images, turtle graphics, and simple animations. The focus of Luxor is on simplicity and ease of use: it should be easier to use than plain Cairo.jl, with shorter names, fewer underscores, default contexts, and simplified functions.

    ComponentArrays.jl

    ComponentArrays.jl

Arrays with arbitrarily nested named components

..."Components" of ComponentArrays are really just array blocks that can be accessed through a named index. This will create a new ComponentArray whose data is a view into the original, allowing for standalone models to be composed together by simple function composition. In essence, ComponentArrays allow you to do the things you would usually need a modeling language for, but without actually needing a modeling language. The main targets are for use in DifferentialEquations.jl and Optim.jl, but anything that requires flat vectors is fair game.

    CoordinateTransformations.jl

    CoordinateTransformations.jl

A fresh approach to coordinate transformations

CoordinateTransformations is a Julia package to manage simple or complex networks of coordinate system transformations. Transformations can be easily applied, inverted, composed, and differentiated (both with respect to the input coordinates and with respect to transformation parameters such as rotation angle). Transformations are designed to be light-weight and efficient enough for, e.g., real-time graphical applications, while support for both explicit and automatic differentiation makes it easy to perform optimization and therefore ideal for computer vision applications such as SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping).

    Oceananigans.jl

Julia software for fast, friendly, flexible fluid dynamics on CPUs

Oceananigans is a fast, friendly, flexible software package for finite volume simulations of the nonhydrostatic and hydrostatic Boussinesq equations on CPUs and GPUs. It runs on GPUs (wow, fast!), though we believe Oceananigans makes the biggest waves with its ultra-flexible user interface that makes simple simulations easy, and complex, creative simulations possible.

    SimpleTraits.jl

    SimpleTraits.jl

    Simple Traits for Julia

This package provides a macro-based implementation of traits, using Tim Holy's trait trick. The main idea behind traits is to group types outside the type-hierarchy and to make dispatch work with that grouping. The difference to Union-types is that types can be added to a trait after the creation of the trait, whereas Union types are fixed after creation. The cool thing about Tim's trick is that there is no performance impact compared to using ordinary dispatch. For a bit of background and a...

    Literate

Simple package for literate programming in Julia

Literate is a package for Literate Programming. The main purpose is to facilitate writing Julia examples/tutorials that can be included in your package documentation. Literate can generate markdown pages (for e.g. Documenter.jl), and Jupyter notebooks, from the same source file. There is also an option to "clean" the source from all metadata, and produce a pure Julia script. Using a single source file for multiple purposes reduces maintenance, and makes sure your different output formats are...

    GeoInterface.jl

    GeoInterface.jl

A Julia Protocol for Geospatial Data

This Package describe a set of traits based on the Simple Features standard (SF) for geospatial vector data, including the SQL/MM extension with support for circular geometry. Using these traits, it should be easy to parse, serialize and use different geometries in the Julia ecosystem, without knowing the specifics of each individual package. In that regard it is similar to Tables.jl, but for geometries instead of tables.

    DynamicQuantities.jl

    DynamicQuantities.jl

Lightweight + fast physical quantities in Julia

DynamicQuantities defines a simple statically-typed Quantity type for Julia. Physical dimensions are stored as a value, as opposed to a parametric type, as in Unitful.jl. This can greatly improve both runtime performance, by avoiding type instabilities, and startup time, as it avoids overspecializing methods.

    InteractiveViz.jl

    InteractiveViz.jl

    Interactive visualization tools for Julia

...So why another plotting package? InteractiveViz is not a replacement for Plots or Makie, but rather a graphics pipeline system developed on top of Makie. It has a few objectives. To provide a simple API to visualize large or possibly infinite datasets (tens of millions of data points) easily. To enable interactivity, and be responsive even with large amounts of data. To render perceptually accurate summaries at large scale, allowing drill down to individual data points. To allow generation of data points on demand through a graphics pipeline, requiring computation only at a level of detail appropriate for display at the viewing resolution. ...

    LoggingExtras.jl

    LoggingExtras.jl

Composable Loggers for the Julia Logging StdLib

LoggingExtras allows routing logged information to different places when constructing complicated "log plumbing" systems. Built upon the concept of simple parts composed together, subtyping AbstractLogger provides a powerful and flexible definition for your logging system without a need to define any custom loggers. When we talk about composability, the composition of any set of Loggers is itself a Logger, and LoggingExtras is a composable logging system.

    HDF5.jl

    HDF5.jl

Save and load data in the HDF5 file format from Julia

...HDF5 uses ASCII names for these different objects, and objects can be accessed by Unix-like pathnames, e.g., "/sample1/tempsensor/firsttrial" for a top-level group "sample1", a subgroup "tempsensor", and a dataset "firsttrial". For simple types (scalars, strings, and arrays), HDF5 provides sufficient metadata to know how each item is to be interpreted. For example, HDF5 encodes that a given block of bytes is to be interpreted as an array of Int64, and represents them in a way that is compatible across different computing architectures. However, to preserve Julia objects, one generally needs additional type information to be supplied, which is easy to provide using attributes.
