HyperTools is a library for visualizing and manipulating high-dimensional data in Python. It is built on top of matplotlib (for plotting), seaborn (for plot styling), and scikit-learn (for data manipulation). Functions for plotting high-dimensional datasets in 2/3D. Static and animated plots. Simple API for customizing plot styles. Set of powerful data manipulation tools including hyperalignment, k-means clustering, normalizing and more. Support for lists of Numpy arrays, Pandas dataframes, text or (mixed) lists. Applying topic models and other text vectorization methods to text data. HyperTools is designed to facilitate dimensionality reduction-based visual explorations of high-dimensional data. The basic pipeline is to feed in a high-dimensional dataset (or a series of high-dimensional datasets) and, in a single function call, reduce the dimensionality of the dataset(s) and create a plot.

Hypercube is a tool for visualizing DOT (graphviz), GML, GraphML, GXL and simple text-based graph representations as SVG and EPS images. Hypercube comes with a Qt based GUI application and a Qt-independent command-line tool. It uses a simulated annealing algorithm to lay out the graph, that can be easily parameterized to achieve the desired look. The main development goals are portability and easy usage rather than high performance and complexity.

Inspired by Grokking Algorithms and python-execution-trace, this project aims to reveal the mechanics behind algorithms via interactive visualizations of their execution. Visual representations of variables and operations augment the control flow, alongside actual source code. You can fast forward and rewind the execution to closely observe how an algorithm works. The same code that is displayed next to the illustration is also decorated using babel-plugin-trace-execution and executed to record the context at every step. Literally the same source file. Going back and forth between function execution (and call stack when algorithm uses recursion) is effortless. So is pausing and resuming. This project uses styled-jsx, but takes the idea of CSS-in-JS even further. Sizing, positioning and transition offsets are computed by JS, all before elements hit the DOM.
