Emerge (or emerge-viz) is an interactive code analysis tool to gather insights about source code structure, metrics, dependencies, and complexity of software projects. You can scan the source code of a project, calculate metric results and statistics, generate an interactive web app with graph structures (e.g. a dependency graph or a filesystem graph), and export the results in some file formats. Emerge currently has parsing support for the following languages: C, C++, Groovy, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, ObjC, Ruby, Swift, Python, and Go. The structure, coloring, and clustering is calculated and based on the idea of combining a force-directed graph simulation and Louvain modularity. emerge is mainly written in Python 3 and is tested on macOS, Linux, and modern web browsers (i.e., the latest Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge).

The various types offered by this library are only meant to be value types. Most APIs are therefore exposed as top-level functions and not as methods.

Profile Summary for GitHub is a web application for turning a public GitHub account into a more visual overview of its development activity. It uses the GitHub API to collect profile and repository information and present it as summary graphics and statistics. Its visualizations include repository distribution by programming language and commit distribution by language. Users can generate summaries for GitHub usernames through the web interface. The project can also be self-hosted and configured with GitHub API tokens to increase request capacity. Built with Kotlin and Javalin, it provides a compact way to inspect a developer's GitHub presence beyond the standard profile layout.

coolweatherjetpack is a Jetpack-based implementation of the CoolWeather Android application built around the MVVM architecture. Its structure separates responsibilities into UI, ViewModel, repository, local data, and network data layers. Activities and fragments form the UI layer while ViewModels retain interface-related data and communicate with repositories. The repository determines whether requested information should come from local storage or a remote service. Local persistence is implemented with LitePal, while Retrofit retrieves information from web services. Dependencies flow in one direction between adjacent layers, making the project a practical example for learning structured Jetpack and MVVM development.
